Does it bother anyone that the same people who post on the explicit forum post here?

I accidentally clicked on explicit forum and WOW. It seems a bit strange to me that all of us are posting about our children, pregnancies, schools, etc right alongside people who are posting that drivel in explicit? I'm no prude but some of that stuff is really out there and crude. Seems like a strange forum to add to a parenting website.

Parents have sex (sometimes boring, sometimes wild & crazy). That is the whole premice of becoming a parent.

Pregnancies, marriages, children - and sex are all related! It is a perfect forum for a parenting website. Yes, there are some really explicit stuff out there - but it gives you a really good understanding of what the low libido within a marriage can do to the spouse. Many people who are trying to hook up are the ones who are dissatisfied with the sexual aspect of their marriage. No husband tries to pick up another woman because his wife does not do laundry, or his kids is not taking AP Calculus - but they will do that because sex is infrequent, staid and boring.

Then there are other parents who have a great sex life and they will share tips and tricks. If nothing else - it expands your horizons.

Being parents does not mean that you are not sexual beings. You still have your fantasies, your libido, your kinks!

Have you actually SEEN that forum? We're not talking about just normal or adventurous marital sex. And it seems like a lot of those folks are single/hook ups.

Yeah, I don't really know why Jeff includes it. I guess it probably increases his clicks significantly for advertising money. But it seems to detract from the brand of DCUM as a family site, if that has any revenue value. I guess DCUM in general was always not really family friendly at heart, however!

Yes, I stop in once in awhile. An unhappy spouse will eventually try to hook up.

But there are a lot of happily married people who also visit the forum.

That sub forum has no ads so Jeff is making no money from the explicit forum
