Are you scared?

I'm a fiscally conservative, socially liberal, strong national defense American Jew and I'm petrified for our country's safety given the political climate and lack of leadership in the White House.

If you are an Obama supporter, if you are apolitical (hard to reach these people since I'm posting on the politics board, I get it), if you are a strict Liberitarian against involvement abroad, are you scared for our future as a free country? Do you worry about groups like ISIS, Al Quaeda, Hamas, having influence over your life and liberties in the US? It is already happening in Europe.

Honestly I'm not looking for a debate. I'm just having a hard time seeing how things can get better for us under this administration.

"Fighting" terrorism has crushed our liberties. It's called the Patriot Act.

I’m scared. We need to elect a leader who knows what he/she is doing next time around.

Ha! Because the previous administration did such a great job, right? You can thank W. and his circle of crazies for the fact that Iraq is now in flames in ISIS is ruling the show.
And I'm actually far more scared of AIPAC dictating Congressional actions and undermining the President than I am of ISIS or Hamas. Last I checked their lobby isn't quite as powerful and doesn't purport to dictate to the US "when and how it would go to war":

And before you raise the Anti-Semitism card...my spouse is Jewish.

I'm very disturbed. Had we left a contingent of military this would not have happened. Administration blew off negotiations for SOFA.

The degree to which this country has spiraled downward under this admin and the previous admin is astounding.

How has it affected Europe? They rank more democratic than us.

Let's put this in perspective.

Germany occupied most of Europe. The Soviets could have ended civilization as we know it in a nuclear firestorm. Al Qaeda might be able to blow up a building.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/04/16/eight-facts-about-terrorism-in-the-united-states/

According to this the odds of being killed in a terrorist attack are 20 million to 1.

The odds of being killed by heart disease are 467 to 1.

Thus you are over 40,000 times more likely to die of heart failure than a terrorist attack.

Oooooohhhh! Are you afraid of killer doughnuts?

Obama is making us fat.

Quick, call Darrell Issa and the rest of the insane clown posse.

We need a special prosecutor and an impeachment panel, pronto... Ahhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrgggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
