Public Trump Impeachment Hearing Mega Thread

If it were really urgent as the Dems said it was they would have done something with the vote already. The fact that they're sitting on it means it wasn't important at all and they're just trying to play politics over the fact that they couldn't win an election. Huge mistake by pelosi and co.

Disagree. While it has lost press thanks to Trump's attempt to distract, it will illustrate that the GOP is unwilling to hold a fair trial and 100% willing to put Trump above the law.

2020 will be bloodshed in the Senate and White House.

That's the Trumpster take. The rest of the U.S. is impressed by Pelosi and cheering her on.

The "rest of the US" equates to DC, NY and CA to most on this forum!

Even Democratic candidates for the nomination say that they hardly get any questions about impeachment in their town halls. What they hear about is healthcare, jobs being outsourced, the opioid crisis, education, immigration, etc.

Pelosi holding up doesn’t really matter. Trump approval rate didn’t go down a bit. People don’t really care much about impeachment not to mention Pelosi’s tactics.

Dems = Party of Clowns and Crazies.

Wow. Quite a comeback. I’m sure Democrats are really hurt by your fifth grade level analysis.

Orange man = bad.

That's the level of Dem analysis...nursery school?

No we use alluring alliterations since the comeback from the right is limited to “stop calling us dumb or we will vote for a dumb person again “
So since Trumplins like things like “crooked Hillary” and these stupid 5th grade taunting tactics, I’m personally trying to be relatable and get on their level. I prefer Dictator Don, Treasonous Trump, Rotten Republicans (not all, just those like Mitch the..Snitch, etc

started it, right?

I agree. And i actually think his wagging the dog worked against him for the majority of onlookers. Nationally and globally. Germany isn’t the only former supporter pulling back. The Blue Wave will Now be a Blue Tsunami because of the earth quaking under current gop leadership. It’s not just trump. It’s the GOP that is far more dangerous.

Not the point. Dig deeper in you “analysis”. This put pressure on moderate republican senators, and gave a low information public time to catch up. It’s a very simple catch phrase and they will hang it around any republic who votes against it.
“A trial should have witnesses and evidence.”

Well we’ll see. If Pelosi transmits the articles without getting any assurance from GOP senators, would you accept her gamble didn’t work out?

Polling suggests that anywhere from 68% to 84% of the American public wants testimony and evidence in the Senate trial and not a kangaroo court. That is national polling, Sorry your echo chamber isn't resonating.

Why would she do that?

Not the PP you’re addressing but the stalling has let a lot more information come to light.

Yup - a simple concept. Along with "no one is above the law".

She is pressured to do so. Again, would you accept that her strategy failed if she does that?

And a lot of people will remember W's "WMDs" when putting Iran shenanigans into context.
