That is because the GOP Senators KNEW about all of this last week when they were trying to ensure the vote would be on Thursday.

Mitch McConnell, Chuck Grassley and anyone else who supported this knowing that Brett Kavanaugh May have participated in a gang rape need to resign. Now.

It's apparent that Grassley took part in the Whelan mistaken identity story and possibly paid off the alternate sex offender. Grassley should be indicted after an investigation.

Its equally apparent that Grassley, Hatch, and McConnell tried to hurry up the vote in order to prevent these allegations from coming forward. They should all be indicted on conspiracy and if the allegations are true, covering up a crime.

Yup, it is sickening to read the Avenatti email. I cannot belief that there are supposedly well educated people who behaved like animals and got away with it because of position and power of their parents.

What's telling, too, is not just the attitude towards women that these alleged actions betray. If true, it shows that these supposedly elite men are incredibly insecure and will basically do anything to appease the alpha male "leaders," including treating women like trash just to prove that they aren't at the bottom of the hierarchy. I pity anyone who behaves like this. Going along with the herd, always having to please and prove yourself -- even if it means forcing yourself on a woman who's blackout drunk when you're too drunk to feel anything, or pulling out your penis and shoving it at someone. So pathetic. And incredibly sad that Americans don't have the moral fiber to demand better from their leaders.

Anonymous wrote:So to sum up, I’m not discounting the Yale party allegation, but what will do him in, I think, is the evidence the tweeting attorney has stated he will present in the coming days regarding the house party allegations. That will dovetail, more or less, with the credibility analysis of the first allegation. There’s no way out of this for Judge K. The rights of the accused must always — always — be respected and faithfully adhered to. I’m an old enough Democrat to know that, and I have been both a prosecutor and a defense attorney. But this is not a civil or criminal trial. The standard for “proving” unfitness is much lower.

A well thought out analysis by one of the only grown ups in this thread. Thank you.

Mr. white privilege will end up just fine-with plenty of money to spend and no jail time. If he were black he would have been imprisoned long ago, but white and rich? Nah...just a good old asshole boy doin his white privilege thang with his thang.

Ok, so I now know what "the train" from the 2LiveCrew song means!

Back in the day, do you think someone with the name Debbie Ramirez would have gone there? Look at the names of the people stepping forward on her behalf. When universities like Yale diversify, it changes the culture and breaks up the silence of the elite regarding their own. I think the problem with people who behave as K is accused of doing is that they are so deep in their bubble that they don't realize the rest of the world exists and has a claim on them. That even mere plebeians can judge for themselves, and judge him. Complete denial.

This is so well-put.

I went to an HYP in the 70's. An acquaintance was a self-described Chicana. She testified on behalf of Clarence Thomas.

Harvard and Yale need to bump up their Asian quotas. Freshmen will be found in libraries rather than drinking parties.

I am praying that Avenatti takes the case for the Garett guy, sues Whelan, the conservative smearing company and get to the bottom of the conspiracy by GOP on this matter.

I saw that, too. So much deep unhappiness, by the boys and the girls.

100%.

And to what end? Why? Was Trump trying to get his safe vote on the bench saying he couldn’t be indicted while pres? Or was he trying to stick his thumb in Hillary’s eye in nominating one of the guys who was sniffing around her husband? Why did they support this? They need to resign. And be prosecuted if they’re guilty.

So, they already knew what a pervert Kavanaugh is and still tried to push him for a Monday voting? GOP is swimming with gunk!

Hey, everyone fights dirty when they have to. Is anyone surprised? If the base says shoot, they will and not even look at where they are aiming.

Fighting dirty is not rushing to put a alleged gang rapist on SC. Please! Do not normalize what GOP is doing at Trump's direction.

Not normalizing. They are thugs. Just saying that liberals better not expect them to behave better. They have shown themselves more than willing to do whatever it takes, including allowing Trump into their party and holding their noses. They confuse power with legitimacy.

The drinking is the root of the problem. I'm surprised there hasn't been more concern about it. Oh, wait—most of you reading this are already on your 2nd or 3rd glass of wine, amiright?

New Avenatti tweet:

Brett Kavanaugh must also be asked about this entry in his yearbook: "FFFFFFFourth of July." We believe that this stands for: Find them, French them, Feel them, Finger them, F*ck them, Forget them. As well as the term "Devil's Triangle." Perhaps Sen. Grassley can ask him.

I think Avenatti has a MALE source for his info, as well as a female client

Not a psychologist, but I'm guessing that if K did this but is still denying it, he is deeply in denial and the self-righteousness of his denials comes from the part of him actually believes he has been victimized. But the point is that, if that's true, he allowed himself to be victimized and did not stand up against this; he felt he had to go along to get what he wanted out of this social circle. I always wonder about people like this. What does it take for their little world to come crashing down? Does being this dependent on what others think just eat you up at night?

I hear you but he has no money, he has virtually nothing to show for his prep school and Yale degree . A loser in every sense of the word .
