I admitted no such thing, liar. Antifa may be used interchangeably with anarchists as far as I can see. It's not like these people issue membership cards. Ideologically, anarchists seem to be on the left, and I don't see why any would be a problem for you, unless you are an anarchist apologist, and you wouldn't be that, would you?

Whoever is doing that would be wildly inaccurate. Anarchists are anarchists. They are different people and ideology than ANTIFA. How about we start using language with accuracy?

Language with accuracy? That's a joke, when Ngo gets called every name in the book, except "journalist" because, you know, reasons. So I will call them what I damn well please, and you will just have to sputter and fume about how "wrong" I am. If those people don't like what I call them, they can hire a PR rep to announce their preferred appelation and trademark their symbol. Sounds like you are angling for tbe job.

You are conflaging different groups with different ideologies only making you look like a fool.

Nope. It doesn't. They are close enough that we don't need to check their non-existent membership cards to understand them. The important point is that they committed a crime and should be in jail.

Yes, I agree criminals belong in jail. It's too bad most of the GOP doesn't agree.

Do you think the people who beat Ngo belong in jail? Yes or No.

Yes, they deserve to be charged and have a day in court. Do you believe the same is true for all the people who funded, planned and executed the 1/6 insurrection?

Here's the difference.....

Those who attacked Ngo have not been arrested, are not being held and are not going to trial.
And, many in Portland who come out, night after night, trying to set the Federal Courthouse on fire - IF they are arrested, are released a few hours later.
Those who entered the Capitol on 1/6 have been arrested, many are STILL being held despite the fact that their crimes were nonviolent, and they will eventually have a day in court.

As of yesterday, we now know that the Capitol police and other authorities in charge knew about 1/6 for months and did nada. Sounds like a setup to me.

This is what actual investigative media does.

And note - he wasn’t setting anything on fire or destroying government buildings and businesses. He was there to document those who do. Good for him.

You weren't there, so you don't know what he did or didn't do.

No. -2. How do we know he wasn't there to cause trouble? People infiltrating protest groups to cause trouble happens quite a bit more than people realize, for example the Boogaloo Bois who have repeatedly been caught for arson, vandalism, violence, molotov cocktails, ambush attacks on police officers and attacks on police departments under the guise of "BLM/Antifa" - with notorious examples being the "Umbrella Man" in Minneapolis but also arrests in a half dozen other cities. https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/28/us/umbrella-man-associated-white-supremacist-group-george-floyd/index.html

Also, Andy Ngo has previously been exposed for having rather cozy relationships with Proud Boys and other violent far right extremists and domestic terrorist (whom he does NOT do "investigative journalism" against) https://www.salon.com/2019/08/28/right-wing-journalist-andy-ngo-outed-video-shows-him-hanging-out-with-far-right-hate-group/

He sounds like a self-hating person, who supports white supremacists. One of the "good Jews," so to speak.

.You weren't there either and you have no evidence, so knock it off.

No, he doesn't. He sounds like a person who thinks for himself. A rarity these days.

Read the twitter thread posted. He doesn’t “think for himself,” he’s a liar and an agitator.

Sure. Because everyone would read the thread the same way. That's exactly what someone who thinks for themselves would say.

It would show you the many ways Andy Ngo has lied and what the actual story is, usually with video or time-stamped tweeted photos (and only through 2019! Think how many more lies he’s peddled since!). It’s a lot harder to pretend he’s some beacon of truth when you can see his lies for yourself, which is why you won’t look.

Just putting this out there so we can put the whole ANTIFA thing to bed as it relates to Portland.

'Indeed, representatives from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Portland said last August that there was no evidence that the protesters that were arrested during the demonstrations had links to ANTIFA or other violent anti-fascist groups'.

'Indeed, representatives from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Portland said last August that there was no evidence that the protesters that were arrested during the demonstrations had links to ANTIFA or other violent anti-fascist groups'.

For ABC News that was a long form article, wow.

You are correct. Portland isn’t on fire and “antifa” isn’t running rampant there. Fascists are. “ There is this false narrative that Portland is burning down by ANTIFA and the city is being run by communists. That brings the far-right wingers to Portland and that's for photo ops," he said.

Since the protests and clashes begin last year, Proud Boys members and figureheads have claimed the anti-fascist groups in Portland needed to be protested and fought.

Blazak said that despite what some reports might say, the majority of people who took part during last year’s George Floyd protests were not part of any violent far-left group.”

There sure were a lot of right wing loons on this thread talking about how Andy Ngo knows the truth and he tells it. I’ll tell you this, boys: you’ve fallen for propaganda. What you believe to be true about antifa is a lie.

Portland leaders are hoping to take this page from other cities, denying the fascist agitators their propaganda images: “ She noted that in several cities groups have protested the Proud Boys and other far-right groups with planned peaceful demonstrations, often with singing, where they ignore any instigation.

'They usually have a bigger crowd," Miller said. "Not only does it drown out the far right, but it also strengthens community ties."”

And yet... also from ABC:

Mayor Ted Wheeler has been outspoken against the group in recent months.

"The self-described anarchists who engage in regular criminal destruction don't want things to open up to recover," he said in a live video conference in April. "The city of Portland will not tolerate criminal destruction for violence ... for those who are involved in it let's make them hurt them a little bit."

They've received a sharp rebuke from the mayor, who is asking residents to help take back their city and be the eyes and ears of the Portland Police bureau.

"These people often arrive at their so-called direct actions in cars. And they're all dressed in all black. Our job is to unmask them, arrest them and prosecute them," Wheeler said at a video conference.

Individuals claiming to be antifa released a chilling video last week, containing a seemingly veiled threat against Mayor Wheeler and publicized his home address.

"The mayor of this city is undeserving of his position. He has made it abundantly clear that windows to him are more important than human lives," an unidentified voice in the video said. "Ted, we are asking for the last time that you resign. Blood is already on your hands, Ted. But next time, it may just be your own."

When even the mayor of Portland is calling out Antifa:

The mayor has since been in contact with Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt, calling for more prosecutions and accountability for "radical antifa and anarchists" seeking to cause damage and wreak havoc in the city, which suffered dozens of nights of violent protests in 2020.

“My good faith efforts at de-escalation have been met with ongoing violence and even scorn from radical antifa and anarchists,” Wheeler said. “In response, it will be necessary to use additional tools and to push the limits of the tools we already have to bring the criminal destruction and violence to an end.”

The Dems created this Golem in the form of ANTIFA, and true to form, their monster is turning on it’s creator. As it always does.

ARGH the misinformation here! Antifa has nothing to do with democrats, and they hate democrats, and consider Biden a capitalist hack as bad as Trump. -Portlander.
