Andy Ngo is a noted-and virulent anti-Antifa campaigner but was trying to blend into a crowd of protesters tonight while masked and wearing all-black.

They chased him into a hotel and tore off his fake BLM flag in the process.

Someone was up to no good...

And note - he wasn’t setting anything on fire or destroying government buildings and businesses. He was there to document those who do. Good for him.

Umm no. Journalists declare who they are, carry press insignia/passes, and identify what they're doing. They don't sneak around like rats trying to find or cause mayhem.

Interesting that the OP chose to start an obnoxious thread about a reporter doing his job, rather than the ACTUAL “notorious racial agitators” destroying Portland. This is obviously what he was there to cover, and what the OP is apparently condoning:

Police officers warned the crowd that the gathering was now considered an unlawful assembly and that those who continued engaging in criminal activity would be subject to arrest and use of force. Some individuals in the crowd threw frozen water bottles, glass bottles, eggs, metal spikes and mortar-style fireworks at the officers, police said.

Police declared the unlawful assembly a riot at around 10 p.m. local time and ordered the crowd to disperse. All he does is film people in public places. You don't need a press pass for that. He's never been credibly accused of "causing mayhem" but he has filmed a lot of other people committing mayhem. Those are the people who complain about him.

I think it's helpful that someone documents protests and riots. And if you don't think so, then yeah, you are de facto condoning the idea that people should be allowed to riot when nobody is looking.

Little Andy seems more like a snitch than a journalist. He also ran and hid in a hotel with over 50 police protecting him. If he was an actual journalist, he would have be honest and not acted like a snitch.

This. It's amazing how much they hate him. He's nothing like Project Veritas. He posts unedited clips of people rioting in public places. That's it. That's his big crime.
