Heck, I bet most of the people posting here don't look as good as Jill and they're all much younger. I think she looks great. I hate the quibbling about her dress and the bow because I think it diminishes women when we criticize each other for things that are clearly personal choice. Please let's try to be kinder to one another.

+ 1. These are far pettier complaints than the commentary about the Trump women, who dressed in a manner largely entirely inappropriate for their function and their bodies. It’s bullshit.

Newsflash: Title of thread: The Official Jill Biden Style and Fashion Thread

I’d love to see her in well-tailored jackets or more classic, structured dresses. She looks great in heels and jewel tones. She’s naturally very pretty. She’d look amazing with a low light with dirty blonde to amber warm with just a few face framing highlights. Straighter hair and less fussy and styled.

Better bras and pretty dressmaker details around her face so a
jewel neck top with an interesting g collar or even small ruffle - something g to scale with her (I assume) smaller, petite frame.

The printed dress shown above wears HER because the print and bright red belt are too big for her. Solids or tiny prints would be a huge improvement. She looks like she has borrowed someone else’s clothes.

This is great! I can (almost) visualize it!

Yeah, I don’t think anyone would call Jill stylish. But she is 70 something, appropriate for occasions, and not embarrassing. Win

She tries to dress young and sexy. It doesn't work. Classic would be better. And, it's time to ditch the Farrah Fawcett hair. And, please, no more fish net hose.

Agree!

I don't think she tries to dress sexy at all! I don't think she's a fashion icon or trying to be one, I think she's just a 70 year old woman who is dressing maybe a decade or two younger because she has a good figure. I'm just happy she's not wearing skin tight everything and showing off giant boobs.

Not a fan of the dress or the red bow belt that doesn't go with the dress or flatter her.
Looks more like something one would wear on a nice spring day.

She’s worn this dress before.

Oh wow, that dress is hideous.

The dress isn’t that bad but it’s not a Christmas dress. Jewel tones are ok. Why wear flowers on Christmas to visit children in the hospital? I do like the red coat.

If she'd just get a simple, sophisticated lob, that would go a long way re: updating her look.

Where is she trying to be sexy?
I think her hair suits her, but what would you do to change it up? What's a classic style that is suitable for her age? I think I'd like her to go a bit more ashy but I'm not good at visualizing new looks for people.

Did you participate in the Trump women fashion thread?

DP. Yes, I like that coat too and it made the dress look better.

So then you, too, dumped your opinions all over the Trump women fashion thread and are now complaining because Jill also has a fashion thread? Too bad. Grow up.

Jill, just get a more professional looking hair style. Not all those layers/feathers, it's so 80s Ocean City Md

Oh wait, is that "the butterfly haircut" on JB that's so hot among instagram influencers?

Yes, these are great. Just curious PP, are you American? I hardly ever see American women rocking any version of this style and color.
