It's looking bad for Trump right now, but don't forget that Trump could lose the popular vote by 5 million votes and still stay in the White House. But he'd need to get more than 45% to do that, most likely.

FDR didn’t have Fox News and Limbaugh et al actively aiding and abetting his opponent.

He had Father Coughlin, who was equally bad. But yes, point taken.
