there are people who would rather let the mom die, than even consider terminating the fetus. They would say we chose to take on the risk when we became pregnant.
I say I have children at home and if the fetus has basically zero chance of survival AND is about to kill me, I'm going home to my other children. |
This is beyond brutal. |
I know right.. those red states and their abortion. |
you know what else is brutal.. when people can't get food and healthcare for their babies. |
|
Yeah this thread really does confirm that anti abortionists really are fine with women dying and babies suffering.
It’s lunacy. They won’t ever be content with health of the mother being a reason. |
Raising a child in poverty is also brutal. Are you going to adopt all the fatherless bastards running amok in inner city America? I think not. Abortion should be easier to perform to rid society of certain social ills. |
Margaret Sanger would agree. |
Yeah, I posted these same scenarios earlier in the thread. CRICKETS. Even though cases like these are exactly what this law is about. |
No I haven’t adopted any babies as I’m only 18 but there are lots of willing people who would like to adopt. And just because babies born with diseases or other complications will experience pain, it doesn’t mean we should take their life and not give them a chance to overcome it. Everyone goes through suffering in their life whether they’re born with syndromes or not. Plus, the majority of aborted babies would not have been born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. That’s only a small minority of all abortions. |
Read the stories in the post above yours. Those babies had zero chance. We are not talking about Down syndrome here. |
None of these so called "pro lifers" seem to want to even think about these scenarios. They don't seem to care about the children the mom's would leave behind, or the life of the mother. Only the fetus matters. |
FASD is not the reason why people have late term abortions. If there are so many people lined up to adopt all the kids, why do we have any who aren't adopted? Do you know how many aren't adopted? Do you even think things through before forming your opinions, much less criticizing others who have thought this through? |
I have thought about the subject of abortion for a while now, and yes I’m not the most experienced person here by any means. I was just looking to explain my opinion and read everyone’s thoughts. It’s just because I strongly believe abortion is bad is why my opinions can be seen as deeply critical. I’m still learning as I’m young and I just want be able to gain understanding on these topics. Anyway I’ll leave this chat for now |
Well said. Thank you. |
Anti choicers cant answer this stuff because it proves their arrogance, ignorance and misogyny. |
