Why would Carole be intimidated by success and wealth? She was married to literal royalty; living MIL is a society doyenne; best friends were JFK Jr. and CBK, the nucleus of society in the 90s. All this while B was doing soft core. C has been a millionaire and successful author and on the social scene for decades.

That 45 thing was a dig by Bethenny, knowing full well that Carole is in her 50s.

That 45 thing was a dig by Bethenny, knowing full well that Carole is in her 50s.

That was a weak dig since since Bethenny is nearly 50. They aren't that far apart in age.

I think in her 20s this was carols life and it was glamorous. Problem is that was 25 years ago and she's done NOTHING sincr. Except for the books...that ppl just read to glimpse into said lifestyle. Even those were 10 years ago.

Why isn't Carole still a journalist? Just go back or it. You are clearly desperate for it and I'm sure her name is strong enough to get her in somewhere. That way we don't have to listen to how she was successful 25 years ago. She should work. Yes she's independtly wealthy now but she desperately clings to her journalism self so just get a job in that field. You aren't raising kids or doing anything really.

She is writing columns or essays. They showed her meeting with Cosmopolitan about one.

Betheny is still so broken when it comes to relationships.

Not surprised there would be contention about what she communicates as talking on the phone with her would be a disaster. Her rapid fire communication combined with her need to dominate and over talk everyone would ensure miscommunication. She grills people with quesions and never allows them the time to answer. She needs to come off of whatever uppers she's on.

Her need to create Carole's sadness was bizarre. Carole wasn't sad. Carole was distant from Betheny and Betheny knows it but won't address it. There was no sincere concern on her part about her supposed good friend. She was enjoying Carole's presumed pain while it was pure projection of her own issues. Her call to Ramona was more madness. She is accusing Ramona of enjoying their fight and encouraging it because she is most concerned that the larger group of women are turning against her. She's been in this position before and it isn't enjoyable. She needs to stay on this show to continue the endless marketing of her brand.
