Why would Carole be intimidated by success and wealth? She was married to literal royalty; living MIL is a society doyenne; best friends were JFK Jr. and CBK, the nucleus of society in the 90s. All this while B was doing soft core. C has been a millionaire and successful author and on the social scene for decades.[/quote]

I think in her 20s this was carols life and it was glamorous. Problem is that was 25 years ago and she's done NOTHING sincr. Except for the books...that ppl just read to glimpse into said lifestyle. Even those were 10 years ago.[/quote]
