Her need to create Carole's sadness was bizarre. Carole wasn't sad. Carole was distant from Betheny and Betheny knows it but won't address it. There was no sincere concern on her part about her supposed good friend. She was enjoying Carole's presumed pain while it was pure projection of her own issues. Her call to Ramona was more madness. She is accusing Ramona of enjoying their fight and encouraging it because she is most concerned that the larger group of women are turning against her. She's been in this position before and it isn't enjoyable. She needs to stay on this show to continue the endless marketing of her brand. [/quote]
