It could end up both campaign’s chairmen, Podesta and Manafort be charged with crimes from their previous lobbying work for foreign governments.

There are two Podestas, us know? Only one worked for Hillary. Keep up.

True, but I think Manafort really stayed loyal to Podesta all along. The President got played on that one.

As opposed to Flynn who committed felonies and possibly treason, or Kushner who committed felonies and possibly conspiracy to obstruct, or Stone, who possibly colluded...

I have no idea who will be first.

Which crimes did Manafort commit? None?
I doubt that.

No, I just meant that the crimes are many. It's hard for me to pick the first one.

This. The mind positively reels from the possibilities. I mean think of all the people we've heard about - Trump, Pence, Ryan, McConnell, Manafort, Flynn, Kushner, Ivanka, Uday and Qusay, Sessions......... - and the range of crimes.

Unlikely to be Trump. General thoughts that POTUS is dealt with through impeachment, and cannot be indicted until he leaves office. But novel legal ground, so SCOTUS would have to make the call. Besides, Trump is the whale. You start by catching the little fish and turning them, to make the strongest case possible.

I would love it to be Kushner.

Trump can absolutely be indicted. Jones versus Clinton illustrated this, ironically.

Maybe the Trump supporters should ask the question differently.

Trump knows what he did, and didn't do. If he were innocent, he would be asking that the investigation carry out because it will show he has nothing to hide and he will be exonerated.

Do Trump's tweets this morning make this suggestion?

Maybe you should just admit that your gal Hillary EARNED her millions from the Russians.

Jones v Clinton was civil, not criminal.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinton_v._Jones

In a criminal case, DOJ OLC says a sitting president cannot be indicted. The indictment can be sealed until he leaves office, though. BUT, this has never happened IRL, so it is likely something SCOTUS would decide.

I get the feeling that Trumpkins are stupid enough that they do not know. They see the names Posesta and start jacking off, because they believe Posesta Group and HRCs campaign manager are the same person. Wrong.

Maybe you should just document where she earned money from the russians.

DP. Nope. It’s just that you can’t prove a negative. Come up with an actual, firm allegation, rather than throwing around the word salad of Podesta Group Uranium One Fusion GPS Steele Dossier, and praying something sticks. 98% of the But Uranium! People have no idea WTF happened. You can disprove an actual allegation. You can’t disprove word salad.

Totally! I do not understand why Republicans constantly bring up HRC! Probably deflection and it’s the only thing Republicans can rally behind since their party is going down in a fiery spiral of collusion and treason. Posters don’t seem to understand that opposition research is a common thing but colluding with an adversary to throw the election isn’t.

Russian involvement in the election, Trump laundering Russian money and Trump obstructing justice - three things that have nothing to do with Hillary or Obama.

I'm so sick of hearing about Hillary. Listen carefully, Trump supporters - I DO NOT CARE. If you want to investigate her, knock yourself out. If she is guilty, fine. She can go to jail. This isn't about HRC. She is not the President. This is about Trump. 100% about Trump. If you people had an ounce of patriotism or love of country, you would want this investigated. You simply cannot deny that Trump has a lot of connections to Russia. His reluctance to release his tax records after promising he would is sketchy. The number of people who have RUN from this administration is concerning. The fact that he FIRED the man investigating him is inexcusable.

Scared? Sounds like it. Sorry!

Didn't Hillary lose? You'd never know it. These Trumpers just can't get out of campaign mode.
