<--- is this pp threatening violence? Because to be clear: you're talking about the second amendment? So you're making a veiled threat of violence against the arresting officers? |
This is literally how a lot of trump supporting hicks feel in flyover country. That they're patriots defending themselves from tyranny. In actuality, they're tilting at wind mills sort of like Don Quixote. |
I'm talking about the fact that reporters tend to be aggressive and have literally gotten some people killed. I'm threatening protection, not violence. |
This is what I mean by liberals being nuts. They immediately assume violence against arresting officers because they are so used to...wait for it...actually promoting violence against officers. In fact, it's the swarms of reporters, paps, and liberals wanting a piece of flesh that's the real issue. And the liberal death threats against people as well. |
Sounds about right. Nut jobs. |
So you're threatening violence against reporters??? |
You need to get your coffee before posting. You don't know which end is up right now. |
My friend works for a prominent political website and they have had interns stationed outside of known residences since midnight. |
I don't understand the bolded statement, but they should have thought of their children before committing federal crimes. Like every criminal should. Usually white collar defendants' lawyers arrange for them to come in to be arrested. |
Typically, the FBI allows these kinds of defendants to turn themselves in. But remember, the FBI did a no-knock search of Manafort’s home. That is certainly not typical. I think all bets are off. In my perfect world, Flynn, Manafort, and Kushner are charged with Trump being named a co-conspirator. |
I agree. These suspects will avoid the perp walk and be released. Unless there are any foreigners involved who might be a flight risk. |
Where and when have reporters "literally gotten some people killed"? Do you also have examples of this aggressive behavior? Because if memory serves, we've had some aggression towards reporters in recent months at the hands of Trump campaign managers and GOP congressman (Corey Lewandowski; Greg Gianforte) .... No acts of violence by reporters. Greg Gianforte http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/05/24/greg-gianforte-fox-news-team-witnesses-gop-house-candidate-body-slam-reporter.html Corey Lewandowski https://www.washingtonpost.com/video/politics/trump-campaign-manager-corey-lewandowski-involved-in-another-incident-of-rally-violence/2016/03/20/3d69dec4-eeda-11e5-a2a3-d4e9697917d1_video.html?utm_term=.87d920939562 |
I hear Manafort turning himself in today |
Nut jobs, maybe, but more realistically, low information people who get their sole source of news from Fox and who quite literally believe everything Trump and other looney talking heads say without question. They've been whipped into a frenzy by the NRA, believe government is the boogey man (even thought they also want and take a lot from government). This is the ideal group for Trump and it's why our republic is so vulnerable right now. A low information, uneducated, and fearful population is a dictator's best friend and best enabler. |
If you care about corruption you should care about the corruption regardless of where it rears it's head. You would recognize that the charges against Trump and team are serious. You would also recognize and admit there's zero equivalency between anything Clinton did (or didn't do) despite years of politically motivated investigations by the GOP. But you don't care. You are the ultimate tribalist. You don't care about this country, you care about "your side" winning. You and others like you are the reason this country is imploding. |
