Is it okay to leave the baby alone while we dash off to Aruba for a weekend? We'd leave some water in his crib, and he'd have the 2-year old to look after him.

Oh, COME ON!! What do you think people did before baby monitors when they wanted to dash off to Aruba? I mean even if you were home for those 2 days, would you really attend to junior EVERY TIME he cried or needed to eat or pooped? You uptight DC people just kill me.

Of course I let my DC read this forum. He is 2 years old and can read and write, both in English and Russian. I've already made some preliminary inquiries at Harvard.
