War with Iran Part II

Anonymous wrote:“Civilization” as defined “the culture characteristic of a particular time or place” refers to the Iranian regime. Trump wants no harm to come to the Iranian people. He has said this more times than I can count. The only people who wish to harm the Iranian people are the leadership in Iran who have already slaughtered tens of thousands, who are recruiting 12 year olds into the military and who are instructing women and children to serve as human shields to power plants and bridges which is an ACTUAL war crime.

Zesus f*ing MAGA! Now you redefine "civilization" to excuse the Crazy Orange Baboon (COB)!

The Iran–U.S. Ceasefire terms are clear and explicit: the U.S. must choose—ceasefire or continued war via Israel. It cannot have both.

The world sees the massacres in Lebanon. The ball is in the U.S. court, and the world is watching whether it will act on its commitments.

Israel doesn't want a ceasefire so continuing to attack Lebanon is the perfect excuse to prolong this conflict

If Israel stops bombing Iran and Iran avoids retaliatiatory attacks against US bases then we should be fine.

Israel's about to destroy their newfound Gulf friendships and put their unlimited US funding on the line with their bloodlust.

In 5 years or less, Israel will have no more allies. Not in the Arab states and not in America. Netanyahu has done so much irreparable damage to his country. Everything that they built from public image to economy to democratic institutions and internal harmony has all been destroyed by one man. Former PM Ehud Barak who is no dove on Iran either once predicted that Netanyahu and the far right extremists in his base were the biggest danger and would destroy Israel externally and internally in a way that Israel’s enemies couldn’t. What’s amazing is Netanyahu is actually left of center and moderate compared to the others in the Likud party

Because they didn't. Both the US and Iran proposals were agreed to be used as the starting point for negotiations.

All these stories are just the last-gasps of the pro-war people trying to scuttle the cease fire.

No the Iranians only agree on their 10 point plan and Trump agreed to that framework. The US proposal is not included.

JUST IN: Israel says it detects an incoming Iranian missile barrage despite US, Iran saying 2-week ceasefire reached

------

If Iran leaders say the cease fire is Iran-US (+Horzmuz) only, that would be ttr funniest thing ever.

I mean, Israel is still bombing Beirut, so why can't Iran bomb Israel, being in agreement with US?

Can say the same thing about Trump, the GOP and the USA.

Guess this is why the strait is closed? Israel needs to get trump under control and manage their assets better.

Lebanon is about Iran showboating to the Arab states that they are the real protector of Arab states against Israeli aggression. It’s a way to embarrass the gulf states.

All of that oil, all of that money but zero leverage or powerbrokers that can challenge Zionist/Us hegemony and aggression in the region.

The governments in Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar are the biggest losers in this war. They gained nothing but humiliation and embarrassment from Iran, Donald Trump, Israel, Kushner.

Someone has to bring Israel to heel. Maybe international sanction and freezing all foreign assets would be a good start.

Israel can not be allowed to continue this.

Israel’s done this all the time every decade or so going back to 1982 and each time they lost. They believe the key to getting rid of Hezbollah is regime change in Iran but I’m not so sure that’s the case. There’s no moderation when your house is destroyed and your wife and kids are burned to a crisp. Iran and the IRGc can be nuked to glass tomorrow and that won’t “end” Hezbollah.

Israel seem to think everyone is dependent on another country just like they are. Truthfully, anyone who’s studied the region would know the terror groups are stronger and more independent than all the governments in the me combined-most of which wouldn’t survive 72 hours with US military aid or protection. Being social and political pariahs helps those groups.
