They aren’t having trouble, they are going through a large lists of candidates, they really have no reason to name a new one before the summer anyways.

Longer they wait, less chance girls have to leave.

If they’re really good they can leave whenever

One would think they would have liked to identify a new coach in early spring when freshman have to commit to a school. In a perfect world, that’s the best time.

Any parent who has had kids in the IAAM schools for the past 5 to 10 year has already seen apparent powerhouses crumble only a year or two after their peak. McD has really been the only one to stay in contention year after year. Also hasn’t been that long since nearly all the lax talent went to NDP over Maryvale for those preferring the Catholics. The only constant in the IAAM has been changed after the decade of McD dominance.

agree -this seemed excessive when it was clear that he was leaving at the end of the season already. not really a lesson in sportsmanship.

He wants to make it known he has no support from administration at the school

support for what though? to recruit kids and offer scholarships? to miss school for games? to have his team spend more time studying and doing SAT prep?

Getting kids in was not the problem.

It will be interesting to see how long MV can remain on top, they will be dominant next year unless some kids leave which I don’t see happening
