IDK I think that was her maximum threshold for graciousness.

I do think Sophie and Benedict had the best season next to Season 1 in terms of chemistry. Kate and Anthony were a total bore in their season and Colin and Penelope were just cringe.

Edmund, Anthony and Kate’s son, looked so white. Not a drop of Indian in him. Disappointing.

It's funny how different people interpret this. I would rank Kate and Anthony as best chemistry, hands down, followed by Penelope/Colin and Benedict/Sophie in a tie. I found both romances ultimate pretty unbelievable and I feel the male characters, in particular, were just very milquetoast in their portrayal (particularly disappointing with Benedict who was not milquetoast in previous seasons but was in this one. I think Daphne and the Duke had weak chemistry at best and it's just that the Duke was really appealing to viewers (Daphne was such a weak and forgettable character).

I loved Kat and Anthony because both characters were strong, opinionated, and wrong. It was believable that they'd be drawn to similar qualities in one another but also that they'd essentially need to break each other in order to come together because that's how it is with ultra-stubborn people who are convinced they are the only ones who know anything. I also thought the "longing" parts of Season 2 were by far the best, because the animosity between the two characters kept the tension high. They also did a very good job with Kate's sister in terms of both building their relationship and also building drama around her being the season's diamond. That season was the best by a lot for me.

I will note now that I actually watched Season 2 first, then Season 1, and then seasons 3 and 4 as they aired. So that might have influenced my perception. I think if I'd watched Season 1 first, I would not have kept watching the show.
