Bridgerton Season 4

Is anyone else getting super excited? Season 4, Part 1 starts Jan. 29! I have been waiting for this. Benedict is my favorite male sibling in the Bridgerton crew. I’m curious how they are going to do this since he’s had a few male encounters so far.

Honestly I think the actor who played Colin just lacked charisma. You just wondered what Penelope saw in him. The actor who plays Benedict has more charm so I'm more optimistic.

I already saw episode one. It was good! The actress playing Sophie is excellent.

This season definitely has more a Downton Abbey vibe, with the Upstairs Downstairs stuff.

Especially after Season 2 when they did so well with the chemistry.

Yes! I was rewatching some of the scenes and it was so cringey!

I binged all the books once (they're extremely quick reads) and wasn't a fan of Benedict's book, but they massively improved an Anthony's book for season 2 (the bee thing in the book is just beyond stupid and cringe). A lot of the best elements of the show are entirely invented for the show.

+1 And I could never get into that book.

On the other hand, the only Bridgerton book I liked was Book 2 with Anthony and Kate. SUCH a disappointment and no chemistry.

I am nearly done with Season 3 (never read any of the books after Book 2) and it is so boring.

Interesting re: the Downton Abbey vibe for Season 4. I noticed in Season 3 there is some music that is very much like Downton Abbey.
