I’d agree with this. The 2014s also had a small roster for 11v11 play. I’ve never seen that before. I bet they might bloat the roster to 16/17, but also have 2 dedicated goalies.

I was shocked that there were 6 or so goalies trying out.

Coach B has been purposely playing against lower skill leveled u13 teams all year. When they play appropriate leveled teams they do not out pro-form 6-0 anymore. I can't help but wonder why. SYC doesn't do this. Loudoun also plays down 2014 NVA girls to pad certain games/tournaments while SYC does not. They are not the same and you're obsessive tracking of stats that don't actually matter won't change that.

Ha. Anyways, I guess we will see when they play in the top bracket of Jeff Cup. SYC is seeded a tier lower. Both could play each other at ASIST as well. Assuming Loudoun team stays together when they go NVA, there will be a lot of chances to play each other.

I'm outside the DMV currently but my daughter will occasionally play SYC/other top DMV teams and they sound like the carbon copy of a couple nearby clubs. Fascinating how it's the same all over at this age group.
