Why does anyone who doesn't know either of them personally claim to know the truth? None of us know what's really going on in their relationship, all 27 pages of this thread are 100% speculation and gossip

To be clear, I don't think their relationship is fake -- I think they really care about each other and are getting married because they want to. I think you are wrong. If the limited info we have so far is correct, he proposed after the podcast. Waiting 2 weeks seems like a pretty standard amount of time for something like this - enough time to celebrate in private, but making the announcement before it leaks. Until she was on the podcast, they had all but disappeared from public eye for several months. No matter when they got engaged, people would have thought it was for PR. If this had happened during the months we hardly saw them, people would have said they only did it because they weren’t getting enough attention lately.

I can see why it seems suspicious leading right into the album release and football season, but it also makes sense that they would want it to happen before all of that is in full swing. And that they spent their slower months growing their relationship and discussing marriage.

He clearly adores her and comes from a nice, stable, loving family like her. Frankly, they were lucky to find one another and I think they’ll be supportive partners and loving parents. Happy for them.

That said, I do hope they have a smaller more intimate wedding and not a Bezos-like circus.

I love Taylor the entertainer, her music and lyricism. That said, I believe she is insufferable as a partner: bossy, needy and entirely too obsessed with what everyone thinks of her. She was ostracized as a child in school and had no friends, so she is compensating now by focusing on winning everyone’s adoration. “I wouldn’t marry me either, a pathological people pleaser.” That is why Travis is perfect for her: he loves the limelight and doesn’t appear to have even one original thought, so he wouldn’t mind being told what to do on a daily basis.

Do you even have a daughter? I wouldn't say my child is obsessed with Taylor Swift, but she's the favorite artist of many girls in her social group.
