I started a couple or more twitters? Deleted all don’t even remember my handles. And couldn’t recover bc I didn’t just log off, I asked to delete.. after musk bought. Went back for a bit but it was 1000x more racist. And all my people left. Deleted again.

I keep thinking is this what undoing you are a consular officer? Look at memes that people retweeted to try to determine if they are anti - US? Or is it being done with AI? I would like some journalist to write an article walking through who does this and how. Either way it seems like it would be full of errors. Also there is already some writing about people in developing countries being paid less than a dollar an hour to look at violent disturbing content for Meta as moderators etc. I wonder who is looking at everyone’s social media and if they are being harmed by being forced to do so

I’m looking forward to all the domestic travel deals over the next two years. Prices have gotten crazy post pandemic. A severe demand shock should get things back in order. Might end up killing the AirBnB market, too, which would be a huge win for many communities.

Of course some businesses are going to go under, but that’s just the price the MAGA owners need to pay to make America great. Not everyone has what it takes.

The hotel prices fluctuate greatly between the off season (summer), where you can get a mid level hotel (Hilton Garden/Marriott Courtyard) for $99 and peak season (March) where the same hotel is over $350.

When I booked a hotel for March travel, it was under $200. The same hotel last year was $350. This past weekend, I made a last minute reservation at a hotel vacation property for about $150. Others had reservations at a Hilton for $130.

MAGA love this, though. It means cheaper travel options for Americans in American only. MAGA base doesn't do that much overseas travel so they don't care about America's global reputation or that the dollar is falling making it expensive to travel overseas. As long as they're stickin' to the libs, that's really all that matters.

Florida is definitely seeing the decline in the Airbnb market, and the resulting plunge in home prices. We booked something for Thanksgiving only a few days in advance - decided to drive at the last minute - and there were still dozens of options even though we have two big dogs and we’re looking in a really small area.

Yeah, crazy talk about scoring deals on domestic travel because our "president" is hellbent on terrorizing our cities, chasing brown people and tearing down the very things that have kept us, and Europe safe, since WWII. But, hey, at least I can now get a room at Holiday Inn for only $99.
