Yes. |
What is subverting democracy? Pushing a senile old man with dementia for the presidency while pretending and gaslighting everyone that he's sharp as a tack? While the real decisions are made by a small circle of unelected advisors and family members? Is this what we mean by democracy? |
Presidents always have advisors they rely on. There have been periods of time, most recently Ronald Reagan, when the president may not have been fully in charge. I don't see that with Biden, but clearly you do. But still, at the end of the day, allowing Trump into the White House means an alliance with Russia at the expense of NATO, the end of women managing their bodies, round-ups of brown people, "liberals" and anyone else that isn't the favored class. Alexi Navalny is what you get when you have authoritarianism. I'll take a bag of rocks before I accept that kind of tyranny in our country. |
The hilarious part is that you folks are still going with the "stutter" defense. We aren't stupid. |
Subverting democracy is inciting a riot because you didn’t win the election. And sorry, if you thought Joe wasn’t sharp as a tack because the media didn’t tell you, then shame on you. |
Well said. Sad this has to be said again and again. |
Look, Republicans had an open and competitive primary with multiple plausible candidates. It's too bad DeSantis and Haley split the anti-Trump vote within the GOP. In those early primaries, Trump was not topping 50 percent. And even in the most recent primaries when Trump was the only candidate on the ballot, Haley was still pulling in more than 20 percent of the vote.
Contrast this with Democrats. The WH, the DNC, Senate and House leadership all knew about Biden's diminishment, his deficiencies, his inability to pay attention, his frailty, his frequent mind melts, his confusion, his cognitive impairment. It has been clear to everyone that works closely with the White House that Biden is an elderly 81 year old geriatric in rapid decline. Absolutely everyone in Democratic leadership has know for ages that Biden is clearly incapable of fulfilling the duties of the presidency in a second term when he would be 86. And yet, Democratic leadership chose not to have a competitive primary. The chose to anoint a clearly incapacitated elderly man as the next President. Like this is a monarchy. Now we know Jill Biden and Hunter Biden are a big part of the leadership circle in the Oval Office. It's like the 11th Century inside the White House, with an elderly king and his nefarious family clinging to power behind their walls. You tell me which party is the greater threat to American democracy? |
Well good, if you aren’t stupid then pay attention. Look at what Trump has said and done. It’s not complicated. |
Are you talking about Trump's unelected advisors, Project 2025, and Ivanka and Jared? |
Please post a quote or video where Trump has referenced Project 2025. And, if you think anyone but Trump was the decision maker during his presidency, you are crazy. |
+1. Voting for Trump is moronically stupid. |
Obama runs the show anyway . Don’t be fooled. He will push Michelle to run and become de facto president for his fourth term |
