Vivek Ramaswamy Presidential candidate

He would hold a legitimate and fair election hostage in order to advance his own personal legislative goals. Do people not comprehend what he is saying?

Still don't understand why so many in the GOP keep focusing on candidates with entertainment value rather than actual qualifications to do the job. There were five current or former governors, one current senator, and one former VP on the stage at the recent GOP debate--and this unqualified dude is your guy?

Because the GOP has no actual policy goals.

Their goals are to block everything the Democrats do and to give tax cuts to the rich, that's it.

Because they can't run on policy since they have none, their only choice to attract voters is to stoke outrage via culture wars, so entertainment value is their only option.

He's very smart, and I think he knows what he's talking about.

People confidently say this every day right before they're fleeced by timeshare salesmen, ponzi schemers, MLM scammers, and the like.

When Dunning-Krugerites fall victim to smooth-talking con men it's generally only their own savings they lose. Sadly as the PP has shown, when it comes to politics those same peoples' inability to distinguish competence from confidence can have wide-ranging effects on all of us.

Perhaps. But he's not qualified to be president of the world's most powerful country.

Well, if that's your answer to the PP's question, it is quite clear that you aren't very smart.

This, plus grift.

“Ramaswamy has reported more than $50 million in holdings in Strive, which to date, is mostly a fund to promote fossil fuel development. As Semafor reports, the largest fund at Strive—called DRLL—“ invests in U.S. energy companies and urges them to keep drilling for oil so long as it’s profitable.”

He's never hidden that Strive is an anti-ESG fund unlike some other virtue signalers...

And crush women and brown people and LGBTQ people under their heel. Don’t forget that part.

He called everyone on that stage full of governors and former governors bought and paid for except for himself.

He’s a sociopath. No empathy, no remorse, no conscience, no understanding of right and wrong. Born to be a hedge fund a$$hole.
