Not sure how it works in VA publics.....but in MD...there are a few ways to transfer out of you districted HS to another. Some counties, you can simply transfer to another HS if you want. Westminster HS is an example. They get alot of transfers from other high schools in the county for lacrosse due to the legacy of the program. Other counties, if there is a class your school does not offer and the other one does....you can transfer. Urbana HS in Frederick county has the IB (International Baccalaureate) program. So kids transfer there for it and get to play sports there. This is why these programs build up top sports teams. Not sure if this is how that fogo ended up at another school

A GZ booster and I’m sure he is heading to a school only you could dream about at 17.

Robo fogo now at Madison is not sketchy as mom is faculty at Madison. His 9th grade brother (not a lax kid) transferred as well for better fit with AP program courseload.

Nah

Of course they did. STJ kids did, GP and Zagas kids as well as a few publics did. College teams need 40 plus players to run effective practices.

IL. SJC just had 2 commit. One to Michigan and one to Virginia.

That St. John’s team was stacked with talent. Not a surprise that they finished number 1 in the country. Was told another one was gonna commit as soon as next week.

Committing early is great but that also means you aren't taking your potential 5 official trips to see other schools. Great if you know exactly where you want to go but otherwise take the trips, keep in close contact with coaches to make sure you aren't missing any opportunities moving faster than expected and make the most of this once in a lifetime experience.

Mich commit is joining his brother. Family affair.

Interesting move. #1 2023 recruit McCabe Millon from McDonogh switches from Duke to UVA. In his announcement he states “looking forward to enjoying my last year of high school with my family and friends”.
