Did Ellen Greenberg’s fiancé kill her?

Other than her parents and true crime weirdos, who really cares?

This is beyond 1% rare if it a suicide. For this person (with her particular history/lack of prior attempts or violence, lack of acute intoxication, lack of acute psychosis) to have these wounds would be much, much more unusual than that.

She had a history of mental illness, was on and off meds, and was having a breakdown that particular day.

I have a relative who had later life/adult onset moderate depression who committed suicide unexpectedly after going on and then switching around SSRI. It was also a surprisingly violent death - no history of violence or psychosis in 45 years. I think many psychiatrists don’t manage these meds very well.

I agree, it’s rare

The medical examiner said she had "anxiety over grades due as a teacher", which caused her to stab herself in both the back of her head and her heart...

New development: feds looking into this case. Good, though I imagine they're only involved hoping to dig up something on Josh Schapiro.

I'm glad to read this. If any case needs a minutely detailed impartial examination, it's this one.

+1. When you hear hoofbeats, think horses not zebras.

They have said they are not reinvestigating the cause of death. They are reopening it to investigate the response by the police and legal system.
