| This is beyond 1% rare if it a suicide. For this person (with her particular history/lack of prior attempts or violence, lack of acute intoxication, lack of acute psychosis) to have these wounds would be much, much more unusual than that. |
She had a history of mental illness, was on and off meds, and was having a breakdown that particular day. I have a relative who had later life/adult onset moderate depression who committed suicide unexpectedly after going on and then switching around SSRI. It was also a surprisingly violent death - no history of violence or psychosis in 45 years. I think many psychiatrists don’t manage these meds very well. |
