What are they hiding?

"Clear direction from POTUS to hold."

lol, hearsay again

Excuse me?

the report of another person's words by a witness, which is usually disallowed as evidence in a court of law.

Please stop using legal words you don't actually understand.

Is it fun for you to just make stuff up and post it anonymously?

No, this is not random people speculating. This is an email from the associate director of national security programs at OMB to the Pentagon comptroller giving instructions. Not something that would be sent based on gossip or speculation, but in response to an order from Mulvaney from Trump to hold the Ukraine assistance funds.

wheres trump's direct order documented? If not documented, are there any recordings (like nixon)?

Little Donnie could clear this all up by releasing all the relevant documents and allowing people to be interviewed. Curiously, he does not.

Because don the con is acting extremely guilty, not allowing witnesses to testify, and creating a distraction in the Middle East.

Gotta love it. This presidency is full of firsts.
First to ask for foreign interference of our elections
First to spark hatred over Twitter
First President to see his numbers plummet during a time of conflict
First President to be kicked out on his ass during time of war.

I know Christmas is over, but I’m still in the spirit!

A majority of Americans polled think Trump's actions constitute an impeachable offense.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/our-poll-finds-a-majority-of-americans-think-the-evidence-supports-trumps-removal/

After the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Trump on Dec. 18, the president’s fate is in the Senate’s hands. The process for the trial still isn’t clear, but there are signs that it will likely be smoother sailing for the president going forward: Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he will coordinate with White House counsel, and there’s no indication that the Senate is anywhere near the 67 votes needed to remove Trump from office. And according to our impeachment and removal polling trackers, there isn’t broad public support for that either — just 47 percent of Americans favor removing Trump.

But in the latest installment of our survey with Ipsos, where we use Ipsos’s KnowledgePanel to poll the same group of respondents every two weeks, a majority (57 percent) of Americans said they think Trump committed an impeachable offense. Fifty-two percent said they think Trump’s actions regarding Ukraine or his refusal to cooperate with the impeachment inquiry constitute enough evidence to remove him from office.

Amb. Bolton stands ready to testify if subpoena'd by the Senate.

So, will four GOP Senators make the call?

Boom. Although maybe he only said this because they know none of them will.

So Bolton will comply with cops with red hats but not cops with blue ones?

He has no legal justification to ignore a House subpoena now.

The Bolton news is rather surprising.

Do you think it will lead Mulvaney and others to agree to testify, fearing repercussion if Bolton threw them under the bus and the pendulum swung against them?

Bolton won't testify because the GOP won't subpoena him.

He knows that, but now he will have a less uncomfortable press tour for his book.

It’s an interesting equation, isn’t it? What weighs more: the kompromat that Trump clearly holds over many of his administration or someone’s crimes (or, being generous, “questionable behaviors”) being brought to light?

You all are acting as if Bolton has something incriminating to say.

You may well be very surprised should he testify. I don't think it would go quite as you think it would.
