I'm bored, snooping, but it looks like the Hawks' young "star" coach left this Spring to become a director of the new Nationals ECRL group in Lansing, Michigan (not even the main Ecnl & ecrl location). It appears she was actually a Michigan Hawks alum so that's quite an interesting one. |
Understanding why other locations are able to win is the first step in winning yourself. My feedback (Socal) is that there seems to be a lot of euro grifters in DMV riding on their accents. Not that someone with an accent can't be a good coach. But an accent by itself doesn't make a coach good. Also a suspect that there isn't a big soccer culture. Here's an example. In Socal either LA or SD there's parks you can go to on weekends where parents hang out and grill + kids just play soccer with their friends all day long. These players may or may not ever get involved with teams playing in national leagues. They might just play in "mexican/latino leagues" and be done with it. Reguarding club culture it seems like DMV clubs are all against each other which makes sense but we're starting to see superclubs have 4 maybe 5 feeder clubs for talent that all work together to field the top team. This is different than recruiting from other clubs which also occurs. If all clubs are run correctly coaching and expectations should be the same for all clubs working together as a group which basically enables a large high level player pool that can be tapped into when creating a top team. (Slammers and Legends do this) One last thing that needs to change is the DMV league snob attitude by patents. Who you beat locally doesn't matter if neither of your teams can compete nationally. If you want to play at the highest levels you should only consider the highest level competition as something to discuss, work to, or get excited about. Nothing else matters. |
Yeah and if you’re DC was a real player you wouldn’t be on another regions spouting nonsense. You have a superior premier league product why gloat over in the championship. Weak sauce |
Funny enough, I have connections at both Slammers and Legends. What age is your kid? Let's find out what a worldie your kid is and why you go somewhere else to doo doo talk. Not taken seriously enough at home? |
That's the spirit. Now try and win. |
You have no clue. There's 4-5 Slammers and Legends clubs/teams either directly or indirectly affiliated behind each top team you see playing in ECNL. The movement to the top team starts filtering up at a young age. This is what I'm talking about. When you play the Legends team in Riverside that practices at Silveakes your not playing against players from that area only. You're playing super teams made up of players from all over LA and SD. |
We don’t care |
Go frolic losers or should I say bruh https://socalsoccer.com/ |
You probably don't. But others that want to compete at the national level do. |
Exactly. We don't care. Now go somewhere else. You do not impress anyone here. Just like you don't impress anyone in California. Everywhere you go, people are likely tired of you. I dare say that includes your home. |
He's probably embarrassed to show his face there. |
No have no idea who I know. Put your money where your mouth is, pal. |
Very much a national thread. Also, DMV can't even consistently beat PA/NJ in most age groups so pump the brakes on TX/CA. (DMV- |

Most people here, if you are being intellectually honest, know the teams here aren't typically as good as Texas or California. Nice try but your insult wasn't very good. |
