Actually, I do. I'm well-qualified, educated, and am an outstanding employee in my field. And no, a four year old couldn't do my job because it requires advanced education which I actually have. But nice try though. |

Obviously Danni was let go, by her tweet on Feb. 27th, doesn't sound like she's returning. |

My theory: Danni stood up to Kane, and Kane used his influence to have her suspended. It's now a standoff to see who budges first: does Danni return pacified, or do they find a way for her to exit quietly. If I'm not mistaken, her contract was just renewed, which complicates this issue.
Most people in radio are losers - they're socially inept and/or crave attention. Howard Stern for as talented as he is fits that bill. Kane is the same. The difference between those two - besides genuine talent and cultural relevancy - is respect for their audience. Kane does not respect his audience, nor does iHeart. The show is fake: fake radio bits and fake or exaggerated radio personas. This is the equivalent of professional wrestling. The audience for this drivel is dumb, or chooses to suspend disbelief - like thinking the Real Housewives or both real and housewives. Most people on this forum are not only no longer suspending their disbelief, but also realizing how little the Kane Show actually cares for its audience. Kane is mentally ill and also depressed. His slurred speech is likely a result of medication and alcohol. I would be depressed too if my radio "empire" - syndication is impressive...what he's built is impressive - starts to crumble. The people who built it with him have left because he's a narssacist, a poor leader who doesn't support or care about his team:Samy, Sarah, Mel, Natasha, and now possibly Danni. His wife left him, he's out of his house, and he's working with at least one person he doesn't like (Danni). Yes he makes seven figures - don't let him mislead you on this account - but that and syndication may be all he has left to hang his hat on. That and the dummies who still think he's a good person. I feel bad for Danni - she probably doesn't deserve his treatment but that doesn't make her sympathetic. You lie down with dogs... John is either naive because he thinks Kane is in the right, or he's smart enough to stay in his lane and play the sidekick role. Either way his fate is tied to someone unstable. Rose is young and ignorant and just happy to be on air. Erik may be the smartest person there - and he's dumb. iHeart has a cash cow with Kane. They will not step in - they will protect him at all costs. Nobody should be surprised by the falling of this house of cards. Kudos to those of us who have discovered this train wreck - and either are no longer part of it or simply enjoying watching the chickens come home to roost. |

| I'm actually not so sure Kane is lying about not knowing what's going on. OCD is an anxiety disorder so being in the dark and not being in control probably triggers the anxiety part and he may be coping with that by taking more meds or the meds not being as effective, which could be related to slurring. If it is FMLA, Kane might not even know about it since employees aren't allowed to tell other employees. Of course Danni not saying anything puts a wrench in that somewhat, but even if it isn't FMLA, whatever is happening could be above Kane's head. |

Omg this thread is AMAZING. I just spent a good amount of time catching up - she did just post an update on her FB page. Kane is SUCH a liar.  I actually feel bad for her, clearly she can't speak about whats going on (which is probably killing her) I think IHEART must be working on a way to spin this in their favor. They know this will impact the shows numbers.

I believe she's since deleted it. I took a screenshot because when I refreshed her page, it was gone. All of this is making me like everyone less and less. I was talking to my husband yesterday about how in the past few years, there has been SO MUCH DRAMA with this show. And while I appreciate them being "family," the lies are getting old. "I don't know where Danni is to be honest." Yes you do. Just be straight- say something is going on, and leave it at that. Then there's Danni... when I saw the "I'm not busy" post, I got really pissed off. Maybe whatever is going on is not her fault, but the attention-seeking is getting under my skin. Stay silent, or make some kind of formal post saying "Yes, something is going on, but I'm not going to discuss it further." Grow up. |
