The thread was started b/c some guy broke down over the radio about his divorce. He's not doing this on a daily basis, so there' no real reason for the thread.

We don't need another thread about Kane's divorce. We definitely need another thread about how insanely obnoxious Danni is and hopefully keep the thread long enough to have her booted off the show. I rarely comment and I have to admit how entertaining the show is when she goes on vacations.

Agreed! It was hard and is hard to hear her talk about her pregnancy and her babies now. She doesn't realize rtat people like me have been TTC for years and while it doesn't bother me normally, the amount of time and obnoxious comments from her have turned me off from the show.

You might not like Danni but what kind of cold blooded person are you to try to start a campaign to get her fired? You know damn well that
she is the breadwinner in her family and provides financially for both her small kids. Why can't you just take your sorry ass to another radio station if she rubs you the wrong way?
There are hundreds of other stations to listen to but why come here to incite something so cruel that will affect a whole family. Evil wench.

And no I am not Danni nor do I know her personally but this is a classic example of cyber bullying that is so unnecessary.

i normally feel this exact way. but dammit if curiosity didn't get the best of me and i agree w/the PP. this is one of the strangest threads i've seen on here. because a 3,000 page thread has gotten to be too hard to "handle" let's make a part two. really?

I made the suggestion for a second thread. There are two reasons that I thought a "part 2" was a good idea:

1) A 200 page thread has over 3,000 posts. So, to view the thread, the forum software has to make a query to the database to retrieve 3,000 some posts. That is a much more intensive database operation then querying for a small number of posts. It takes additional resources to paginate the messages and so on. Individually, those process don't amount to a lot, but spread over lots of users, plus everyone else using DCUM, that is a load on our servers that I'd prefer to avoid if possible (and it is possible by having a second thread).

2) A second thread is easier for people who want to get caught up. Instead of posting "I haven't read the previous 200 pages, but [question that has been asked and answered 100 times already]" users can just read the shorter thread from the beginning. There will still be some covering of old ground, but hopefully less.
