Had to check something for work on archive.org so I figured I would check out hot995.com from the week when Kane was first announced to come to DC.

I remember there being so much backlash when Mark and Kris from the Hot Morning Mess were left go. I think they even have some sort of assembly at a local coffee shop to figure out how to protest.

As someone who works in radio this is not only false but also offensive. Not everyone that's on the radio are socially inept and craving attention. That's like saying all singers or actors are craving attention. Some of us do this job because we like to entertain because really that's what radio is, another form of entertainment.

All of this is making me like everyone less and less. I was talking to my husband yesterday about how in the past few years, there has been SO MUCH DRAMA with this show. Then there's Danni... when I saw the "I'm not busy" post, I got really pissed off. Maybe whatever is going on is not her fault, but the attention-seeking is getting under my skin. Stay silent, or make some kind of formal post saying "Yes, something is going on, but I'm not going to discuss it further." Grow up.

Not a Danni fan at all and I totally agree with you with the attention seeking thing...but I honestly was like YES when she made the "I'm not busy" comment. So many people have let Kane lie about stuff and gone with it until way later and, while it would have been way more effective to not delete it, I was happy to see someone challenge the bs so publicly immediately.

He really thinks he is the smartest most clever person thinking he could just say he has no idea what she's doing. A few months ago she was a family member and now you don't know where she is? Just bull shit.

Actually, I do. I'm well-qualified, educated, and am an outstanding employee in my field. And no, a four year old couldn't do my job because it requires advanced education which I actually have. But nice try though.

I think that may have been in referemce to the Peanut Butter girl. She said that her anouncement is March 14. However, she is not coming to hot 99.5 so that date may not be applicable.

I think they're referring to the speculation that the girl from Raleigh, Brooke, Peanut Butter, whatever the hell she goes by, is still coming to the Kane Show. That girl tweeted out that she starts at her new job on March 14, so if you believe that she is coming to replace Danni, then that's what the whole March 14 comment was about.

What would be interesting is if after Kane's announcement and Danni's "silent time" is over if Danni went on the Hey Frase podcast to speak her truth. The podcast, bye is very entertaining.
