I like them, but I also do think he cheats and they basically lead separate lives. I think they're both ok with that though and that's all that matters.

DP I still like Kate, but I'm not as confident that she's okay with the arrangement. From what little we heard about the Rose Hanbury affair, Kate was pretty upset. I don't like the way William is often seen walking ahead of her. It looks like he doesn't really care about her and assumes she's following along.

This. I hope Kate is ok. I actually do worry William is unfit temperamentally and she’s born the brunt of it with different coping mechanisms. How many stories have we read about William’s anger? Wasn’t there some weird quote recently about their rows and getting “bloody in the ring” - obviously a metaphor but…..a purposeful one? I don’t know. I get a bad feeling with him.

You are assuming that others getting word first means they would actually publish. They wouldn’t because they have a special relationship with the royal family. Exactly how they never reported on Charles’ affair for years despite knowing about it. Even in the US they have a special relationship as there was a news anchor caught on a hot Mic complaining on being unable to report on Prince Andrew’s allegations years ago. And what Andrew did is clearly far more serious.

Also this isn’t even something limited to BRF. TMZ had a tape of Justin Bieber saying the N word for years that they declined to report on in exchange for stories about his relationship with Selena Gomez.

I also like Kate but I wonder if it was because Rose has more status amongst the blue blood set than Kate does so it’s extra humiliating.
