The above just tells us that Robinson was actually the smartest of the two, and if he hadn't gotten caught up in the crazy darkness that is the far right he might have made something of himself.

The internet is a bad place for young men. They should all be out roping cattle in their 20s, ala Brokeback mountain, and not going down the internet rabbit hole of crazy. Mom's give your son's a shovel and send them out to dig some holes, make them do labor work on a construction site during the summers. The world will thank you for it.

Why is it so hard to accept that he was spouting a series of anti-fascist sentiments, and that this suggests a motive?

I did mean what I said, but you coninue proving my point. I have an 18 year old son who thankfully did not go down this rabbit hole, but some of his friends did. And I teach college freshmen. It is my job to know what these things are so I know what is going on with my son, his peers, and my students.

I'm pretty positive the "spewing hate" reference that everyone keeps repeating was Robinson saying that he disliked Kirk because KIRK spews hate and was hate-filled.
