New Additions to Leagues Check Up (ECNL & GA)

ECNL parents freaking out.

Let me tell you something and hear me out.
Go look at the USYNT b&g side and you will see:

Boys: if you don’t play MLSNext….You aren’t going to the YNT.

Girls: if you don’t play for a top 25 club in ECNL and top 10 club in GA….. you aren’t going to the YNT.

Just because all of the YNT players fall into those categories doesn't make it necessary. Are they YNT players because they are at top clubs? Or are they top clubs because the YNT players went there? I think the best players seek out those clubs, and if they chose different clubs they would still have been YNT players.

Shhh... Stop, too much truth.

The real threat is that coat tail ECNL parents with kids on losing ECNL teams can no longer claim that losing in ECNL is somehow better than playing in other leagues.

losing ECNL teams because they all play in strong conferences, can still beat every GA team. when you have an ECNL, with conferences filled with very good teams, not everyone is gonna be on top. the GA hats crack me up!!!

Lol - keep telling yourself that. It will make those checks you are writing for your kid to sit the bench that much easier to swallow. Don't worry, they will be D1 FOR SURE!!!

..if seeing hundreds of coaches on our sidelines watching our games and recruiting our kids in the ECNL instead of GA, giving ECNL Girls more opportunities in college, then I will gladly wear that shirt.

thank you.

what top 30 club does your daughter play for...hundreds of coach on the sidelines is not happening if she's not on a top 30 club.

I can assure you, the DMV area chaos is not representative of the national landscape.

actually my daughter plays for an ecnl team that is ranked in the mid 100's. we are pretty much at the bottom of our ECNL conference. we have never lost to a GA team at CASL or Jeff Cup nor have we ever lost to any GA during pre season friendlies. we only have a few wins in the ECNL conference we are in, we have a few ties and even game we have lost has been by no more than 1 point. the conference is is very strong and pretty even from top to bottom and that is how it should be. she is committed to a P4.

You fools will begin to see a shift here soon.

With colleges only being able to recruit 5-6 kids going forward, they are going to rely heavily on the clubs that have came through for 5+ years.

What that means is that

SD Surf, Solar, HB Koge, SLSG, PDA, IMG, TopHat, CUP, Lou Fusz, Nationals, Sting, City SC, FC Dallas, Match Fit, XF, World Class, MVLA, Real CO,Penn Fusion, Sc Blues

Will get first dibs…

(Also, my niece who has played for KHA for years is leaving the program because of the shift to GA. The girls side feels completely sold out for the boy's side).

2014 (Pre-E): 26
2013: (Pre-E): 608
2012: 345
2011: 277
2010: 415
2009: 234
2008: 440
2007: 611

If the teams are that bad where exactly does she think she's going to catch on at? If she were any good she would have already moved.

Don't use logic to address someone who's obviously making things up just to try and Distract from the GA announcements.
