So let me get this straight, you are leaving the club because it didn't get ECNL but most of their teams are ranked lower than USYS E64 teams and you are upset and it's a sell out? Why should this club get ECNL...their best team is the 09s and they lost in Arizona in Pool Play in USYS Quarterfinals (they played USYS and ECNL-RL from what i'm seeing). I don't get the complaint.

ECNL added/promoted 4 teams keeping in line with only brining in the best girls clubs to the ECNL. All promotions from RL. at least 15 GA teams applied to ECNL and were rejected. There are probably only 10-12 clubs that ECNL would take in reality

greater Toledo #103
Missouri rush #112
california odyssey #132
West Side Alliance #141

Hhahahahahahahahah

ECNL parents freaking out.

Let me tell you something and hear me out.
Go look at the USYNT b&g side and you will see:

Boys: if you don’t play MLSNext….You aren’t going to the YNT.

Girls: if you don’t play for a top 25 club in ECNL and top 10 club in GA….. you aren’t going to the YNT.

I think you can ask 1000 soccer parents if they’ve ever heard of those clubs and they will say no..

Shhh... Stop, too much truth.

The real threat is that coat tail ECNL parents with kids on losing ECNL teams can no longer claim that losing in ECNL is somehow better than playing in other leagues.

Ha, that is funny ... keeping in line with only bringing in the best girls clubs ... if you truly mean "only brining in" as new teams. because if that is the case, ECNL needs to cut about 50 clubs that historically the worst 1/3 of the league and replace them. there are another 100 that could do the same thing. and ever since the Ranking app added strength of schedule, it benefits ECNL. as that is how many of them moved up the rankings (i am not talking about the Top clubs in ECNL), I'm talking about the 60-65 clubs that just stay on the coattails of the actual good clubs that give ECNL the star power.

Someone said it earlier - but the most accurate thing said on this thread is that ECNL parents who continue to scream as loudly as they can about how ECNL is great and GA is awful are the same parents whose kid plays on a low level ECNL team, or rides the bench on a decent team, and tries to associate the league with their kid being a good player. You're either a good player or you're not. It doesn't matter what league you're in. You're either at a good club or you're not. It doesn't matter what league you're in. But keep paying all that money for your kid to ride the bench so you can wear the hat to the neighborhood cookout and hope someone asks what it means.

Another club that got kicked out of ECNL and a random club from Ohio

So many booms

Any clubs left who aren’t in the GA? This Commisioner is clueless

losing ECNL teams because they all play in strong conferences, can still beat every GA team. when you have an ECNL, with conferences filled with very good teams, not everyone is gonna be on top. the GA hats crack me up!!!

..if seeing hundreds of coaches on our sidelines watching our games and recruiting our kids in the ECNL instead of GA, giving ECNL Girls more opportunities in college, then I will gladly wear that shirt.

thank you.
