No, the Bethesda Beat article said she's 45. |
My bad. Dr. McKnight is looking good for 45. So she was 10 when Duran Duran was the it band. Not sure if they had the same impact on a 10 year old. For comparison, the BeeGees was the it band when I was 10. Saturday Night Fever and all that. I never wanted to see the BeeGees but I would have done anything for Duran Duran tickets.

Most of Duran Duran's fan base were 12 so yeah, she was probably into them at 10. I was 16 and they weren't cool at all. |
| Thrilled with our new principal at Wheaton. And, he's a Wheaton grad! |
| Anyone know who might be taking his place at RICA? |
I remember them in Barbarella! |
| Perhaps the 2021 Homecoming theme for Churchill should be Bands from the 80’s. |
He's woke so that's not good. |
What does that mean? |
Please don't feed the troll. |
Can you please provide examples? I think in general, Principals are forced to put programs in place that are the vision of Central Office. I would be happy with a Principal that improves the school climate and decrease bullying at Churchill. I don’t know anything about the new Principal so until shown otherwise, I will hope for the best. |
He forced all the kids at CJMS to read Stamped and promoted it's contents. Stamped was written by a known racist specifically to indoctrinate kids into accepting racist laws and policies that will be used against them. He also invited the co-author to speak at the school. |
Or, Principal Taylor encouraged his students to read and engage with a book School Library Journal called "highly recommended." https://www.slj.com/?reviewDetail=stamped-racism-antiracism-and-you-a-remix-of-the-national-book-awardwinning-stamped-from-the-beginning |

One of the co-authors says the book was written to indoctrinate kids. So there's no arguing that pont. And the other author regularly calls for discrimination against whites. He even called whites aliens at one point. These are not the people whose books our kids should be reading. |
