Nonsense. He’s made no secret of the fact that he badly wanted children.

+1. It seemed like that's what eroded his marriage to Jen Aniston.

+2. Basically every interview he gave back in the day was about wanting to be a father. Enter Angelina . . .

Agree +1. Well he may have wanted the kids in theory or in a partnership, but his desire to do divorced Dad takes *6* kids for full time solo parenting: zero

Disagree.

The kids have nannies. It’s not like he would be cooking, cleaning, tutoring, etc. He has hired help.

Angie blew the addiction way out of proportion so she would get full custody. Why? Primarily so she would have control and could travel/live as she pleases. But she also did it to punish him.

If you read old interviews from 2005 and Jen’s friends views…

Brad loved the idea of kids but not the reality of having them. When Brad/Jen did their home they reserved a baby room but waited to decorate it based on when and sex of having the baby. Jen was the one wanting to start the family, Brad was not.

Yep. The narrative has somehow become that Jen didn't want children. If you look at any interviews from before the divorce she always talks about having children. I think she wanted kids but wasn't able to have them and/or wasn't interested in single parenting.

Or Brad ran away before she could have kids with him. Friends ended in 2004 and he was gone soon after.

Not a chance.

She went all in on her career. She wasn't interested in having a baby when Friends ended; she was ready to focus on films. She was dragging him along ('Soon, Brad. I'll be ready to have a baby soon.")

She obviously didn't want kids. If she wanted a baby, she could have lined up the best doctors, the best surrogate, the best adoption attorney, the best baby trafficker. I mean, seriously.

He wanted a family, but she didn't want one. He wanted to do something cool, and to travel the world while Jen wanted to focus on her film career and only vacation in Mexico.

Brad wasn’t there for the finale, he left the marriage as soon as Jolie hit the set. Crew meme er seven said she went after him hot first day on set.

She wanted two kids, he wanted six. She was ready after Friends finished in 2004 but they were not having sex at that time since Brad was in bed with Jolie. Many close friends have said they were not intimate the last year of marriage. Which makes sense if your hubby is doing it with some one else.

By the way, how did having six kids with Jolie work out for him? Now he pretty much has none.

The narrative was created to justify Brangelina.

People seem to forget Pitt hired a PR crisis manager who came up with this narrative. The end goal was always him coming out smelling like a rose. Amazing how dumb bunnies buy it.

Many believe Jolie is the one who created the narrative since she does her own PR.

I do find it amazing that BOTH women are blamed for the marriage dissolution but Brad always looks good.

.

He just won joint custody. Everyone feels sorry for him, people on the internet are demonizing Angelina, while he openly admitted his guilt in the incident with Maddox, admitted substance abuse issues, and is a cheater and yet… he is forgiven. The things a man gets away with…

Who blames Jolie for the marriage breaking up? I’ve only heard the version where Brad’s misbehavior on the plane was the last straw.

Now people do blame her for the divorce being such a mess. No doubt about that.
