Why link to Twitter instead of the actual study? This was a Brazilian study and the patients were given a megadose (1200 mgs a day) of choloroquine, not the less lethal hydroxychloroquine), plus they were taking azithromycin. Of course their patients had heart issues. I don't think this study would even have been allowed in the US. The adverse effects weren't seen on the lower dose patients. |
