| UGA, UVA - beautiful! |
UCSD??? Really. We toured and it looked like 70s junk condos. |

Granted I am very biased since I am originally from the area, but I absolutely love the Northwestern campus. Very charming. |
This UNC grad agrees with the above! (Also think my alma mater fits the bill.) |
OMG, you didn't walk to the beach did you?!?! You probably saw grad housing complex. So many spots you can go sit down and just look over the pacific ocean and the beach... |
I love UCSD but people who expect college campuses to look like Yale or Oxford might not get it. The architecture is very modern and is intended to complement and highlight the natural beauty of the setting but is not classical. I like it but it is not to everyone's tastes. That's why Pepperdine tends to get high marks -- it has classical architecture in a gorgeous California setting. A crowd pleaser. |

+1, though I'm biased as an NU grad. It's pretty striking, though. |

| UCSB for nature - hard to beat Pacific ocean on three sides and mountain on the other. The mid twentieth century - modern Architecture is a matter of taste but it fits the gorgeous nature in that it does not compete with it but facilitates a relaxed, bike centric college experience … very different vibe most to NE USA colleges but beautiful in a different way … |
Sorry that campus is HIDEOUS. The only thing it has going for it is the Pacific. Otherwise, the buildings look circa 1960 Soviet Union. |
