Most beautiful campus is not just the buildings…the setting is important. The fact you see the ocean from every location on campus is pretty amazing. |
Can’t speak for Bryn Mawr but Mount Holyoke is by far the nicest of the 5 college campuses — but also the most remote. |
Meh. Not that impressive. |
Eh campus isn’t everything. I’ll take living in Malibu over New Orleans. |
Radford actually has a nice campus. The area isn’t great, but the campus is cute. And from the pics I see of Longwood, it looks like a nice campus, too. Probably wouldn’t put any of these on the most beautiful lists for the whole country, but they aren’t unattractive. |
If the views are a critical factor, Alcatraz has a beautiful campus. |
Virginia has some nice public campuses. |
Sure, they are nice and VA schools other than UVA, VT, and W&M have campuses that are attractive as Maryland and Delaware. It doesn’t mean they are among the most attractive in the country, just that they can be pleasant places to spend your college years. |
| To be fair, my child’s school is very small and really doesn’t have much of a campus. There are maybe 2 nice looking buildings. The town it is in is nice, though. |
It also doesn't mean Virginia schools are not among the most attractive. I have seen Richmond, W&M, and UVA (and maybe more) on lists of the most beautiful campuses. |
OK. But if they mess up those architectural styles, it will be a dynamic, ugly place. |
DP. Are you always this pedantic? Many of us are listing colleges WE believe are beautiful. If you disagree, just move on. No one cares about your silly “analyses” of other people’s opinions. |
| IMO, Princeton has the most beautiful campus and great town center right across the street. |
I preferred it a decade ago when the town center wasn't full of Brooklinen etc. Cute diner still there though |
+1 Definitely. |
