Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread, Part 3

Lindsay Graham is a horse's patoot. He keeps implying that the Democrats cooked up these allegations. Not one iota of responsibility does he assign to Kavanaugh, who by most accounts was quite the drinker partier in his younger days.

I'm only guessing.

But first it would explain some physical things--his puffiness, extremely broken facial capilaries, and brown teeth. For moneyed folk who have the means for elective procedures, brown teeth are usually an indicator of something internal manifesting outward that can't be repaired through cosmetic dentistry, like long-term liver or kidney disease.

Second and most importantly, his behavior. He acts and over-emotes *exactly* the way an addict acts and emotes when they are forced into a situation where they *have* to be sober. Worse, he's forced into that situation because of a questioning of his prior behavior while intoxicated. Shouty, ultra-defensive, deflective, trying to seem "regular" angry except that internal gauge is broken so unable to recognize that he's coming off as rage angry, etc.

He also seems like someone who's yet to admit a problem or, worse, think he has one--so his rage never ends at having to be sober while presenting in a high pressure public forum. I bet he used to down lots of hard liquor, but switched to beer because you "can't be an alcoholic with just beer." Hence all the beer talk.

I am hoping and praying that this takes care of Karma soon.

K knows better, so he showed a tremendous lack of judgment and respect for the process. Dude seemed entitled and doesn't deserve a spot on the highest court in the land.

This is a real case, animated with cartoons. Just to let you know it does get a bit crazy in court sometimes.

+1 He's been acting unhinged lately. Wonder what the Russians have on him.

You know what would be hell for a grandstanding gasbag like Flake? Anonymity I hope he gets it in spades.

Glad the ABA still has a notion of ethics.

Can a supreme court justice be disbarred?

He is auditioning to replace Sessions. You know Trumpy loved his performance. Too bad the rest of us aren’t idiots. Well, some of us are.

He looked like an angry man who would not answer yes or no questions and spouted off about left wing conspiracy. Just the type of person one wants for the supreme court?

Prosecuting a crime that happened 36 years ago, for which there is no evidence beyond the accuser’s own testimony, is nearly impossible, and the process tears communities apart.

The Democrats did not do Ford a favor by encouraging her to go public with this.

Dems knew the end game: Delay, Emotions, Debase Kav.

The end game was to maybe win an investigation which would stall the SCOTUS process until after the Midterm elections when hopefully there'd be more Dems in seats.

Alternatively, conjuring up high school party scenes and teenager hormones bad behavior might cause Repub and Kav to back down and stop the process. Put someone else up, delay until after Midterms.

Unfortunately for this bipolar, birfurcated country, all that will happen is a week of soap opera drama in the Senate. No real work getting accomplished, a whole SCOTUS process focused on one's teenager years, and open solicititations from the Democrats looking for anyone with something negative to say about Kav. So here we are.

China, Russia, EU, MidEast must be LMAO so loudly. Democracy at its worst.

It wouldn’t matter. You don’t need to be an attorney to be a SCJ. They just always are. Plus the ABA doesn’t license anyone. That is a State function.

Durbin is attacking GOP for attacking Feinstein.

This is still the issue.

Feinstein picked the lawyers--Democrat activists.

If Feinstein did not leak this--then the lawyers did.

Had she given this to the FBI in July-or August--they could have done an investigation. And, what would they have found? Exactly what the investigators for the SJC found. No one remembers the party or anything close to what Ford described.

The FBI cannot figure out where the party was or when it was.

What would have been different? Ford would not have testified. That would not have suited the Dems.

Now, the only reason they want an investigation is to stall. Period.

Good for Dick Durbin for reading out the American Bar Association asking the Senate to investigate the investigations on Judge Kavnaugh before confirming him. And noting that Christine Ford said she would submit herself to investigation by the FBI, while Kavanaugh didn't make the same commitment even though it's the right thing to do.
