Home sick and watching the dinner party episode -- TRav has a new house & is showing it off. I have seen very few episodes but I feel crummy and need to superior to someone, and there's some minor character who is wearing plaid pants and trying to get people to behave.

Yes. I kind of liked Landon when she came on the show, but wow, she is awful. Kathryn is unhinged though, too. She needs anger mgmt or meds or something.

Landon is also 10 years older than Kathryn. I am 34 and the thought of treating a 23 year old who clearly has mental issues, no job or college degree, 2 kids with an older man who dicks her around and exacerbates her stress and mental illness the way Landon treats Kathryn sickens me. I appreciated Jennifer's "maybe just don't post instagrams of you two because it makes Kathryn more unstable" suggestion so reasonable and Landon's response of "why should I hide my life?" Just terrible. Sorry girl, polo and brunch also isn't your life, you want it to be which is why you are chasing the man boy Thomas. You can also tell how sheps opinion and respect for Landon have plunged into the toilet.

Yes, I thought of that while watching Shep's face during (one of) Landon's bitchy outbursts. Landon claims to "love" Shep, but he has told her, and others, that "it is so much easier to take the high road"/he doesn't like the attacks on Kathryn. Behaving like she does is clearly NOT going to win him over: quite the opposite. Landon really is an idiot.

I work with a few young women (10 years younger) who are clearly not very mature yet, and I also could never consider attacking them the way Landon does Kathryn because their immaturity is just so obvious. I don't even get irritated with them: they make me smile to remember what it is like to be in your early 20s when feelings and emotions are so strong, and to be finding your place in teh adult world for the first time. I suspect Landon is VERY immature in person, and that she really does see herself as the young ingenue in every setting: she resents Kathryn's youth and beauty, and sees herself as Kathryn's peer and competitor.

Shep called it when he said Thomas, Kathryn, and Landon are all very similar, underneath it all. And they do seem to be walking chum buckets of personality disorders.

If you go back and watch Landon interacting with her parents, particularly her mom, where her mom is whining about how it was so hard on her, the MOM, when Landon got divorced. Holy NPD. You don't come from that kind of mother without your own baggage.

+1 To all of this. It's easy to see why Shep didn't like Landon once he got to know her better. Her comment about "being the whole package" is so delusional it's scary.

accordung to random articles on the internet that I've wasted too much time reading, TRav isn't the father, her boyfriend Lee is. And I thought baby had neural tube defects but they don't know the extent of his disability yet, according to her Twitter.

TRav is not the father. Andy asked her and she sarcastically said yes, the was the big reveal or something like that and everyone laughed. I did tear up hearing her talk about the live for her unborn child though.
