Yes, I thought of that while watching Shep's face during (one of) Landon's bitchy outbursts.  Landon claims to "love" Shep, but he has told her, and others, that "it is so much easier to take the high road"/he doesn't like the attacks on Kathryn.  Behaving like she does is clearly NOT going to win him over: quite the opposite.   Landon really is an idiot.

I work with a few young women (10 years younger) who are clearly not very mature yet, and I also could never consider attacking them the way Landon does Kathryn because their immaturity is just so obvious.  I don't even get irritated with them: they make me smile to remember what it is like to be in your early 20s when feelings and emotions are so strong, and to be finding your place in teh adult world for the first time.  I suspect Landon is VERY immature in person, and that she really does see herself as the young ingenue in every setting: she resents Kathryn's youth and beauty, and sees herself as Kathryn's peer and competitor. +1 To all of this. It's easy to see why Shep didn't like Landon once he got to know her better. Her comment about "being the whole package" is so delusional it's scary. [/quote]
