Why are younger men so right wing?

A lot of people have been repelled by Democrats over the past ten years or so. And they voted accordingly one time because Democrats and progressives have been hot garbage for a long time now. That doesn't mean they are all MAGA. It's just that Democrats and the Biden geriatrics and the DEI crap doesn't resonate with the vast majority of young men.

I guarantee if someone like Obama was the nominee in 2024, this conversation wouldn't exist. But Democrats made very poor choices in 2024, and people rebelled, especially young men. Maybe have an open primary next time and choose better candidates.

The Dem mistake was made in 2020 when they nominated a politician who was almost guaranteed to fumble control back to the GOP in 2024. There was nothing the Dem Party could do to change the sequence of events that led to the 2024 Biden campaign debacle after they nominated him in 2020. Did anyone seriously think in 2020 that a career long power hungry politician would get the heck out of the way when that politician would have every right to seek re-election as the incumbent president? Competitive primaries for the incumbent party have never been logistical. We won't make that same mistake again.

They certainly fumbled the handoff in 2024, but to be honest, we vastly underestimated how brainwashed the masses had become.

I’m a man and vote Republican because I don’t agree with most Democrat policies or talking points and they just have weak candidates
(1) I don’t believe biological men can have babies
(2) I don’t believe in taxing the crap out of successful people. I want to keep my hard-earned money. Just look at the rampant Somali Day Care fraud in a Minnesota. Everyone should be pissed that their tax dollars are funding this epic fraud.
(3) I don’t agree with Democrats weak foreign policies. Obama was probably at the top of this scale for weak foreign policies followed closely by Carter. Obama’s apology tour was an embarrassment.
(4) I don’t agree with Democrats open borders. A nation must have sovereign borders.
(5) I don’t agree with Democrats calling anyone who doesn’t agree with them racist, misogynist, Islamophobic, etc
(6) I don’t agree with the Democrats move toward socialism, democratic socialism, or whatever type of socialism the Democrats want to call it. Socilaism just results in equal misery for all. Capitalism is so much better.
(7) I don’t agree with Dem high tax policies and big government and making people dependent on the govt. The govt sucks at managing things.
And so on…
About the only thing I agree with when it comes to Dems is the woman’s right to have an abortion within limits.

And this is why we need at least one of our major political parties functioning at an adequate level at all times. Weakness breeds more weakness and weakness is all we've seen since 2017.

99% of Americans don't think men should compete in women's sports and know the difference between a man and a woman. What's your point? Do you think you have some special belief? Do you want a cookie?

Hey progressives, can men get pregnant?

No, they can't and we all know this. There may be 8 people on Earth who think men can get pregnant but the odds of them reading your post and answering your silly question are slim to none.

These are men who would rather burn down the world and rearrange all of society rather than change themselves even a fraction of an inch for the better. It’s an exortionist mindset. Trying to emulate it or appeal to it is a waste of time. Democrats have never successfully run as Republicans Lite. Voters will go for the real thing over the fake every time.

Democrats need to get rid of the career politicians, get money out of politics, and start running on browdly populat issues like affordability and reining in AI. Stop thinking that the only way to lure Gen Z back into the fold is a white manly man with muscles and tattoos. Gen Z men who care about that stuff aren’t going to vote Dem. But they might vote for someone with a backbone.

This sums it up. Well said.

Ya think? Strikes me as wrong in almost every way.

“Democrats have never successfully run as Republicans Lite.” What about Bill Clinton and Joe Biden?

Triangulation only drove Republicans further right and paved the way for the Tea Party.

Obama deported 3 million people, told Black teenagers to pull their pants up, and adopted Mitt Romney’s healthcare plan. Bill Clinton excoriated Sistah Soljah and worked with Republicans to curtail
welfare. They were both by far the most popular Dem presidents of the past 50 years and would be Republican lite by today’s standards.

Obama and Clinton were real presidents. Trump and Biden are complete jokes who have stained and embarrassed the POTUS office. You're comparing perfectly crisp apples to rotten oranges.

Hey MAGA, do vaccines control your DNA through 5G technology? One of your supporters said this once, so it must be a core party belief.

Obama and Clinton would be successful leaders if in power today just as they were when they were in office because they have elite leadership and communication skills. Policy positions are secondary when you're describing key attributes in a POTUS. Leadership and communication skills are most important. Obama and Clinton were born with those skills. Trump and Biden are terrible leaders and terrible communicators and that fact explains their historically low job approval ratings.

Gender is a social construct.
