Disagree. GC still getting rated highly based on their '23 season, and former stars now at NW and other D1 programs. They will finish outside the top 25... And may be the 3rd best team in DMV this year. Too bad they don't play SSSAS. SR game a little early in the season, but should be instructive.

They will have a couple early out of conference losses, as it seems like MH finally decided to play a tougher schedule. Can’t really tell if SR or how many IAAM teams are scrimmages. Scrimmages or not, they will lose at least 3 of the 5 games against IAAM teams.

SR/GC game is April 11th. How is that early?

According to the Stone Ridge Schedule, they also play next week--2/26. That's early.

Good Counsel's 2023 record was 16-5. You're probably thinking of the 2024 season when they were 21-0. If you're going to come at GC's program then at least do your homework.

Just felt like a long time ago. Still had NW star.

NCS getting the promotion this year. Bank on it.

Need to take this to polymarket. In the words of Lee Corso, not so fast.

We could probably still learn something on relative strength.

1. Stone Ridge
2. SSSAS
3. Visitation
4. Potomac
5. Holy Child
6. Holton Arms
7. EHS
8. Bullis

Could flip 1 & 2 but do not see Visi at 3. Far from it. They lost their best player last year along with multiple other starters. I see them at 5 behind HC and Potomac.
Visi could really surprise us!

HC is terrible. Why do they keep getting mentioned? Visi is slapping them around by 10.

Keep thinking that right up until HC beats Visi this spring then come back here and let us know your thoughts. One strong senior (ND) can't carry the whole team, but a strong goalie and good team balance does. Also helps HC seniors don't treat their teammates terribly.....

Fun to have a HC homer on here. Must be a parent of a freshman, or just discovered the board, because it has been awfully quiet the past several years. You don't seem to know a ton about the Visi team. Some very strong 27s and 28s, and potentially some impact Freshmen as well.

The seniors are nice as far as I know. Your post is almost entirely wrong except the part about the good goalie, which is true.
