SSFS HOS leaving

Assistant Head of School is now Interim Head, and it looks like there's a new Board chair? I appreciate that they did indeed send out another communication this week, as they said they would (this has been an ongoing issue I've had - school communication in general is woefully lacking).

I haven’t seen much incivility. Many posters sound sort of fed up and concerned which seems fair.

I saw that post before it was deleted. Surprised it was reported and taken down.

Yes. Assistant head was also supposed to be interim head of lower school (pk-3, splitting 4/5 to give to MS). So for now she’s doing 3 jobs.

There is both a new board chair and assisting board chair.

Pp again-an earlier post referenced this departure as well as the assistant head of athletics. If that’s true it was (another) bad move to not mention both departures in the email.

The assistant head of athletics was let go in June as part of budget layoffs.

I’m the PP that posted about the AD leaving. You mean his deputy/the assistant t AD for the school left too? Jeez. My kid is feeling a little…incredulous, maybe is the right word. WTF may capture it in his words better . He is going into senior year and we are all holding our breath that it goes okay.

Did AD leave because assistant AD was let go?

I still see the Athletic Director listed on the website. Was it someone else?
