| I doubt they’ll want to move more principals at this point in the season. Maybe promote an AP? Or perhaps an MVA Dean? |
There were a number of central office administrators that were surplused in the last two weeks. Maybe they will be moved to acting positions in these schools that still need an administrator. |
| They still have one more meeting on the 25th where they could appoint new permanent principals. |
That’s a good guess. How many of them were previously principals? |
| You don't necessarily want one of the MVA deans back into a in-person school. She was toxic during the pandemic and was shuffled to the MVA to keep her busy. |
| If she had stayed at her school she probably would have gotten in trouble, either with staff or with families, eventually. As it is the best thing to come out of that situation was her assistant principal, who got his own school later. |
Sounds like a good person to furlough. |
| MCPS is much like the Catholic church: they'll just move her around. |
No. |
I can't imagine they will be able to get anyone in a permanent capacity at this point. It will be an acting for next year. |
The Westland position was posted today, so maybe they are trying to fill it with someone permanent. |
Bingo! Not a chance some school isn’t getting her. Probably one of the open elementaries since that’s her last in person role. |
Westland Middle?? |
| Nah, she'll go to one of the elementary schools. Unclear who is slated for Westland but it's all worked out behind the scenes. |
Who are we talking about? Did she recently get her doctorate? |
