While it is yet another ECNL to GA it isn't exactly a huge deal. Even though the Texas conference is far better than the North Atlantic Tulsa is still the PDA South of that conference.

Yeah yeah. I thought all ECNL clubs are good bud. you guys are so delusional

TULSA ECNL teams at every age group are really just good ECNL RL teams. their ECNL teams should really drop down to RL and their current RL teams should be playing in the NPL. but they don't want that embarrassment so a natural move to GA which is on par with ECNL-RL is a smart move for the club

Yeah! No top level ECNL team is leaving. If they are, they're RL level at best!

Parent is just a hater. GA is an easy 2nd but a big step behind ECNL.

ECRL is closer to GA than GA is to ECNL. I mean ECRL and USYS probably place about the same number of kids in college if I was guessing. I know ECNL places roughly 70% in D1 followed by GA with just over 20%. The rest are International, RL and USYS.

TULSA Girls Teams (from the imperfect but what we have soccer rankings app)

2014 - 148 (pre-ecnl)
2013 - 40 (pre-ecnl)
2012 - 334
2011 - 220 (interestingly, their RL team is "ranked" higher)
2010 - 98
2009 - 146
2008 - 504
2007 - 67

the fact is that the RL has not had the showcase opportunities. that is changing. more showcases will open up more opportunities for RL. what is sad is that for GA, the D1 coaches pretty much only recruit and attend the champions cup and playoffs. the GA has to combine the playoffs with a regular showcase so they can get other teams to attend thinking all those D1 coaches are coming to see this teams in droves.

Tulsa has higher performing boys teams. I’m sure they will announce MLS Next soon.

Now I'll do Club Ohio
(Also, my niece who has played for KHA for years is leaving the program because of the shift to GA. The girls side feels completely sold out for the boy's side).

2014 (Pre-E): 26
2013: (Pre-E): 608
2012: 345
2011: 277
2010: 415
