| u were right 'bout the haters |
| Good thing you said "FU" first |
Apparently, he says that a lot since his kids have been to 4 different clubs between U9-U12... |
Ha! I thought the same thing: "Had kids play at 4 other local clubs around Arlington, and I'm sorry, but the best development we saw came from being at the top at that club. I am talking 9U - 12U," that's a different Club every.single.year. He's either full of shit and self-promoting or ready to move onto the next one when this one stops listening to him. |
Or multiple kids. |
I go with he's full of shit. |
If someone has had to move his kids 4 times to a new club, it is obvious that he/she did not bother to examine in advance the training offered by the clubs. What is the saying.... "fool me once, shame on you, fool me four times shame on me." |
It's just another 7 months until he will be on to the 5th club. The bloom will be off the rose... |
| Why don't people ever name clubs? It would make it waaayyy more interesting. Especially with the negative complaints and comparisons |
Umm. They did. The past posts -previous page all named the clubs. |
| You fucktards are a bunch of trolls. Listening to all of you and your ridiculous theories. Very entertaining. That chick was right and you boys got your panties all wet. LOL |
Mr Trump what are you doing on a NOVA travel soccer thread. |
Because when you start naming clubs people tend to get more defensive. The truth is ALL clubs have similar problems. All clubs have people that think their's is the best and others are crap. All clubs have people that think the club they left is awful or are currently in is awful. No local club is perfect so there really is no point to naming the bad or good because it is just an opinion. What is useful is discussing the issues within the context of the issue alone. You will find that people share many of the same problems regardless of the club and discussing how best to navigate the issues is more useful than believing that only a handful of clubs have those problems. It is best to assume that they can all be bad subjectively. In general clubs are coach driven. If you have a lousy coach no matter how great the club is it simply doesn't matter to you or your kid. |
I agree with the main point you are making, but disagree that all clubs have similar problems (unless you just mean that all clubs have some percentage of clueless parents whose views should be disregarded). No club is perfect, but different clubs absolutely do have varying philosophies and training methods that can make them better or worse destinations for a particular type of player or parent. I'm fully in support of people talking about their experiences at particular clubs. You can usually tell pretty quickly whether a poster is worth listening to or not. |
| Wouldn't it be something, then, if there was a thread called “Travel Soccer teams around NOVA let's discuss” so that interested soccer parents and coaches could talk about particular clubs and specific teams, rather than spending months talking about leagues. What a time to be alive that would be. |
