You really want the Democrats to never win another election, don't you? This is insane. And, there are NO illegitimate members of the court. It's rhetoric like this that leads crazies to try to assassinate those he disagrees with. |
Merrick Garland will not do that. While there is a federal statute prohibiting influencing judges, peaceful exercise of First Amendment rights is not that. BTW, why is it Ok to carry a gun that shoots bullets but not to carry a sign and shout words? |
Good. Are they are carrying guns? |
It's not ok to do either outside a judge's home. Yes, experts say protests at SCOTUS justices’ homes appear to be illegal

PP here. And, I agree that Merrick Garland won't do it. He should, but he won't. He doesn't have the cojones to follow through. |
You folks who appear to be rooting for the assassination of a Supreme Court Justices are insane. Your rhetoric and your cheering for this crap is actually dangerous. |
Yes. Better to just accept women dying in back alleys (nice priorities by the way)! Also, no one said anything about assassinating anybody. The court could be fixed procedurally fully in line with the constitution. And to the majority of Americans, the justices that let their religion dictate their rulings (especially when women lives are on the line) are completely illegitimate. |
Oh, please. Even if the Roe v Wade is overturned.... that means the decision goes back to the states. And, yes, someone said something about assassinating someone. His name is Nicholas John Roske and people here seem to be just fine with his plans. And, once again, you can whine all you want but there are NO illegitimate members of SCOTUS. |
Because states rights worked out so well before in determining the equality of people before. |
And there will be entire blocks of states that make abortion illegal. Someone in Mississippi may have to drive to Florida to get an a abortion (if it’s even legal there), or Illinois. That’s a hardship, and all for what? |
The GOP has shown that trying to overthrow the government is great politics. |
As an American, I do not believe that my rights should be determined by what state I live in. We should all have equal rights as citizens of the USA. |
Is it also dangerous to cheer on an attempt to assassinate the VP? Just wondering for no reason at all. |
Then codify rvw into law. Oh wait not only are we saddled with a 15th century Supreme Court but a party leadership that has handed over the reins to manchin and sinema who refuse to end the filibuster while the supposed leaders of the party just sits on their hands. |
